    email Site: student financial *********************************** Name: ******************** dob: 06/08/2003 Student ID: ******** ***** #: ********** 1. I received notification from *****/ED ********* Services that a loan was disbursed by the department of education on 3/29/2023, to my student account. This loan was disbursed; however, the funds were not utilized because the balance was paid in full.2. To clarify, I was told upon registration that the loan would be redistributed back to ***** by Morehouse's financial services if the balance was paid within the semester. However, the funding was not returned to the disbursing company " ********** of ********** and I am now expected to pay it back, despite non usage. I have already transferred to a different university with my school account being paid in full. However, this is still negatively impacting my ability to complete my education as they are holding me accountable for debt accumulation due to inconsistencies. Furthermore, my previous transfer to an alternative university was contingent upon me having a positive standing or "Zero Balance" that was paid. Therefore, I do not understand where the ***** loan amount of $4759.00 was applied, that has now increased to $4990.80. This indicates that Morehouse University is still in receipt of the funding disbursed from ***** while it is in my name for repayment. 3. Additionally, a payment for your reference was made with 2 transactions for the amount of $4,396.00 and $125.29 credit card processing fee, on July 20,2023, as I was informed that this was the remaining balance in order for me to transfer from the University. 4. Please see attachment, as the monies are due to be returned to *****/********** of Education and the discrepancy corrected. Thank you, I look forward to your response. Eze Okezie
