    In October of 2024 I was seeking a loan and spoke with a representative from Startwoods Finace . Upon speaking with ***** ***** loan Mgr I was informed I was approved for the 30,000$ amount .I was then told that there was a lawyer fee for documentation of said loan in the amount of 499$ which I sent cashiers check over night. Upon recieving the loan documents I agreed to the terms of loan and repayment. At that time I was told there was a security(good faith) amount of 1650.$ that would be returned when the transfer of loan to my bank account was made. Reluctantly I sent via cashiers check over night. When they called back confirming everything and the transfer was to be made , all of a sudden , even to the surprise of the loan mgr. I was told that I would have to purchase an Insurance to cover me cost of 2080$ . I then refused to send any other money and instructed ***** ***** to cancel and send me my 1650$ back that was oct. 25 , 2024. I have since recorded 3 other calls asking if I had changed my decision on the loan and I clearly and rudely told them no. To send me my money. Today Jan. ******* received call from ***** ***** asking about my decision and I clearly said no ***** I just want my *****$ back is all. At which time now ***** ***** ( loan mgr.) said he could not do that when asked why he disconnected me . I only want my ***** $ back I knew the 499$ attorney fee was non refundable . I tried 3 more times calling back and asking why all a sudden they couldnt and each time told he could t talk and hung up on. This totally unacceptable and totally criminal in my mind.
