    My fianc and I got in contact with DJ connection at a bridal event in ************. At first the company seamed very professional and the DJs seemed to be a good fit for my fianc and I wedding date. Therefore we moved forward with the company. After the initial interaction multiple occurrences of unprofessional actions such as being late to meetings set weeks in advance as well as not being able to accommodate requests for certain DJs that were promised from the beginning. Even against our better judgment with the wedding date so close we continued to trust this company to follow through for our wedding date. The wedding date was set for 09/28. The start time of the wedding was set for for 4pm, the DJ was given clear instructions to arrive no later than 1pm that day to setup their equipment and finalize any last minute requests for the event. On the day of 09/28 around 2-3 pm the DJ was nowhere to be found as well as no record of phone calls being made to the Bride, Groom or wedding planner were made to let us know where our DJ was. The wedding planners made numerous phone calls with nobody knowing where the DJ was. The wedding ceremony had to be done with a local Bluetooth speaker which was not adequate for such an event. 4:45pm is when the DJ arrived to venue. Setting up all the equipment took 30+ minutes. At this point more than 1/2 half of the even was already done, all that remained was the reception. The performance from the DJ was horrid. Announcing multiple dances incorrectly as well as having numerous awkward pauses where guests waited around for music to play. On top of that multiple songs had explicit lyrics that had the ** word in them that were extremely inappropriate. Overall this was a terrible experience and was not worth the money we have spent. Therefore we are requesting a full refund for the $1,850 from DJ connection.

    I contracted them 11 months before our daughters wedding for a **** Our daughter and myself we wanted to talk to the ** we would have. they told us we would hear from the ** 2 weeks before the event. We never heard and stared calling about 12 days before the wedding who our ** was and could get no one to tell us. 48 hours before the wedding we call the home office and the guy is really frustrated and tells ** the truth that he himself from the home office has also been calling every day to the ******* office and has NO reply no return messages from a **. I tell him I am going to look for another ** but I am not canceling them until I find one in case they can finally figure one out, but I have NO confidence in them as a business provider. I begin calling around and find someone who may be able to do it but needs an hour or two to figure something out. in the meantime the manager of the ******* Dj connection office calls me and assures me they have a ** but he has been too busy to call. How terribly unprofessional! he tells me that I can have a conference call with the ** and our daughter at 4 pm that afternoon. I tell him that i am working to find someone else and if I find someone else I will not be using DJ connection as they blew it with their poor customer service and not having a ** for us in a timely manner as we were told two weeks out. I still felt this was all a show and not real that they actually had anyone. I did find another ** and did not do the conference call and told them they were fired for incompetence. They are refusing my deposit back only can I get the deposit back if I make NO bad online reviews that I have a gag order to get my full money back. This is absurd! They have refunded ****** but the full amount is *******. They even are keeping ***** I paid to have an extra speaker (that clearly they did not provide) and not refunding that. deposit is 2***** I want the full $1300 back they blew it! These are terrible business practices.

    We hired them for ** for daughter's wedding 5/27. We paid *******. we wanted to talk to the ** doing the event were told a few weeks out we could do this. We called every day to no avail and on 5/25 still had no ** to talk to that morning and the main office told us his frustration too and said he personally had been contacting the ******* office "every day for 2 weeks and could get no one to return his calls." at that point we started to call around and find another ** at the last minute. around 11 am that day the ******* office called and told us they had our ** and that he was busy working full time and could not have ever called us when we had this booked since June of 2022. BUT this ** could talk to us about 4 pm if we wanted to schedule a call with him. I told the manage that I was looking for another dj and thought I might have one I was waiting for confirmation. I told him if I find someone else they will be fired before 4 pm because I have no faith that they will have a ** at our event in less thank 48 hours and this was so unprofessional. I did find someone else and I let them know before 4 pm that we found someone else and did not need their supposed ** they had. After the event I tried to get money back they only would give me the whole amount if I accepted a gag order and could write no bad reviews anywhere. They say I broke the contract canceling within a week of the event and that meant i did not get my deposit back. I say they had no one there for me to use and I had no confidence in their services. They are supposed to refund $1037.50 (don't have this yet but suppose to be coming) but I want the full amount of ****. and invoice said deposit was only ****** May you please help me full amount of money paid to this terrible company ****? I refused the offer for the full amount that ONLY came with a could not disclose anything that happened. I do not accept that ridiculous stipulation and that was not professional. they broke the contract with no **
