    Similar to another review on this company, we closed on our house 7.13.22 after multiple delays and deceptive communication as to the progress on the build and an actual closing date. Prior to closing, we were the subject of attempted bullying into closing on a house that had at least 2 potential liens pending because they company had a construction loan expiring that day. We had a wonderful closing attorney that did not comply with the unprofessional tactics. We closed with a substantial punch list which included missing light fixtures and paint overspray bathroom tile to name just two large items. We were assured they would be completed shortly after closing. Nearly 2 months later, the ** resigned and we no longer have any contact within the company for resolution.Our house was also dirty and not cleaned prior to closing even though we were also assured it would be cleaned. The damage to some items may be irreversible. We are continuing to work to get the windows clear of the paint overspray.To add to that, we have been served TWO liens against the property- one for appliances and one for the plumbing. One has since been cleared, the other is pending.This has been an incredibly disappointing experience and I would absolute never recommend this company.

    BUYER BEWARE!! You do not want to do business with this company. They do not pay their subs (read the reviews). We were contracted to clean 2 houses for them in ********, ** in April '22. We have yet to be paid and now they refuse to respond to emails or phone calls. We will now have to pursue legal recourse and place liens on the properties - negatively affecting the homeowners. Please - avoid this company and help expose them for the frauds that they are. ******************************* (President) - should be ashamed to appear in public.

    I closed on my house july 11,2022. It was a rough journey with them. They told us April, become *** , then June then July finally. But on top of that we drove down to the house that took us 5 hrs to get there because we are from VA that wasn't no were done for the punch list. One time we had to turn around on our trip that we was already 2 and half hrs in because they told us the day before it was all done. But the next day on the road we get a call that we couldn't come. ??. Then the day on closing we walk through my house I was still disappointed. It wasn't all done. But we let it go. They didn't even get a cleaning crew to clean my house from all the construction dirt. I am still cleaning windows, and floors, and cabinets from dirt and paint. But my biggest disappointment why I am writing this review. I got a letter from a lawyers office today stating I have lien on my property because homebilt did not pay for the appliances. So beware from this builder you don't want a headache and heart ache stay away. The worst experience ever getting a brand new home built from this builder. Now I have to deal with this lien that they got paid in full for building this house why didn't they pay for the appliances.
