Our main concerns are the faulty tile work, the damage caused to the kitchen cabinets, the incomplete sanding of the hardwood floors, and floor plumbing that was installed incorrectly. The cabinets were painted with a spray gun in freezing weather, ruining the paint job, and because of this, we have been told that they are unable to be repaired and painted.Ramzi turned on the water at the property without our consent which resulted in the basement, laundry room, and kitchen being flooded. This negligence has resulted in us having to file a claim with our insurance because Ramzi never provided us with a copy of his insurance, despite our repeated requests. Our hardwood floors were to be completed on December 10th, they were partially sanded and not covered to protect them from foot traffic, paint, water, etc. When pipes busted near the laundry room, water sat there along with all Ramzis tools for days, causing buckling and warping in that area and throughout the house. On January 5, 2023, we met with Ramzi to discuss the work that he claimed to have completed. We brought to his attention the problems we were still seeing with the tile in both bathrooms, and issues with the cabinets. We explained to Ramzi that the amount we had paid so far covered the work that was completed, and we would not be paying for any uncompleted work. We asked Ramzi to resolve the problems before moving forward with any more work, but he refused and walked out on us.Despite our attempts to resolve this matter by phone and text, Ramzi refused to complete any work or fix the shoddy work done. It is to be noted that we have completed multiple inspections by certified professionals and concluded that the work is not up to code. It may also be noted that we attempted to work this out with mediation, but we will not pay any more money until the work is completed correctly and up to code.
