I paid ********************************* from the Housing Problems Solvers Company $475.00 for their services to help find me a house. I never received the service from ************************************ I have reached out to her multiple times asking about homes and I got nothing ! I have reached out and ask for my money back but she refused. I even disputed it through my financial institution but she disputed it back. I am a 70 yr old women and I feel like ************************************ is taking advantage of that. I did not receive any help from this company at all my family had to assist me in finding a home. If I was depending on the Housing Problems Solvers Company I would still be homeless.

*********************** complaint is false. It should be rejected. *********************** signed a non-refundable contract with the Housing Problem Solvers Company on September 7, 2022. She had a housing voucher. I discovered later she had left more than one rental property owing a balance. I spoke with her over the phone and in person. Each time she lied about her rental history and owing balances. She came to our office and signed our housing contract. The contract is posted online on our website.: www.housingpsg.com. We encourage all potential customers to read the contract. Before we take any payment in person, the customer is given a copy of the unsigned contract to read over and ask questions. This was the process I followed with ***********************. She was under no pressure to pay or sign our contract. Our contract states "if a client finds housing independent of our consult no refund is due". We provide credit and housing counseling to all our clients.  All email and phone call are tracked with our service. Therefore, customers like *********************** can't lie about receiving the service.

When *********************** enrolled in our service, she had a housing voucher or Section 8 voucher from Dekalb County Housing Authority. I explained to her that property rental limits were lower in Dekalb Housing verse ******* and Gwinnett Housing Authorities. The first property referral received was in Dekalb County. She was rejected by that property because lied to me and on her contract about her housing rental history. Our housing voucher fee is $475 for people with no housing debt, bankruptcy, foreclosure, or criminal history. If a housing voucher holder has housing debt the fee is $675. She was not charged the addition $200 after we discovered she lied on the contract and in person. A client with housing debt and a voucher slows the search process. A limited number of rental properties accept housing vouchers. Fewer numbers of rental properties accept people with a housing voucher and unpaid housing debt. However, I able to find properties that would accept her. She then told me she didn't have all the money for her security deposit. This caused delays. She was given a housing referral and wouldn't report her status. I repeatedly thought she had rented a referred property. ********************* would contact me weeks later indicating she didn't rent the property.

*********************** then decided to transfer her housing voucher to Gwinnett County without telling me. I am searching for her rental properties in Dekalb County when she had a Gwinnett County voucher. I began her rental housing search in Gwinnett County. She stated she found a rental house in Gwinnett County. She said that was the reason for her voucher transfer. After, she was approved for the housing in Gwinnett County she then had a stranger contact me on her behalf. The strange female whom I didn't know demanded I deal with her directly. *********************** had lied to her also. She was forced to admit via that phone call she had received housing referral from me.  After, that phone conversation I was still willing to work with ***********************. *********************** terminated the contract. She stated she had found housing and wanted a refund. I instructed *********************** to read the contract she signed in my office. Again, the contract states, "No Refunds" and "If you find rental housing independent of us, no refund is due". This is a false claim by ***********************. She received our services even after repeatedly misrepresenting the fact. She filed a false claim with her bank. The bank denied the claim also. This false claim should be denied also. I work with voucher holders all the time. Again, this is a false claim by ***********************. Please see all attached documents: Call Log, Email housing referral, vouchers, documents from both counties and text messages.
