      Lingo is not a system I recommend for any business. **************** is very bad; half of the people you can't even understand. Trying to call customer support is not an option. Please stay away from this phone service.

      We apologize for the customer's dissatisfaction. In reviewing we do show this account was blocked for nonpayment back in December. The customer was advised of this in March and made a partial payment. There have been no additional payments or responses from the customer since that time until 6/16/25 at which time a cancellation was requested. That request is currently in process.

      I have been trying to get out of my contract with Lingo for over three months but no one will return my calls or emails. When Lingo went to setup my phone lines they messed them up so bad my emergency lines would not work properly. Every month there are random charges which when I try and speak to my "representative" go unanswered for weeks and when I finally get an answer and go and pay my bill they tack on late fees. Most unethical company I have ever dealt with. Then ***** I get an invoice the NEXT DAY I get an email from their collections department stating I am overdue and need to pay or my phone service will be "suspended". Well I try and get clarification and before I do my phone lines get cutoff. DO NOT even think about using this company. Run away if their name is even brought up. To the indivduals who could not find the time to reach out to me (**** *******, **** ****** and *********** ******) and the collections person who illegally turned off my phone lines (****** *******) I will be looking into legal action against all of you.

      Worst company ever! Extremely difficult to talk to a person about canceling! Than after doing and having no phone service for ****** and paying ******* for no phone, they send a letter for a early termination tee day f ****** that is through there collection department. Oh and did I mention I just paid their last bill bill of ******. These people are crooks do not sign on with them! They need to be closed down! They didn't answer their phone at collection department when I called. They don't deserve any stars !

      We have reviewed the account and see the customer was a long-time customer. We have waived the *** fee for that reason. There are no notes or reported issues regarding the service so we would have been unaware of any issues without them being reported. We do apologize if there were unresolved issues, but it does appear that the service is now disconnected.

      I was referred to use Lingo for my Business clients by a manager at one of the businesses and it has been the worst decision ever. My medical clients are very angry at me for recommending this to them for telephone service. Constant issues here again in 2025 and the customer service for repairs is just horrible. There are so many good **** companies so do not use this company as you will regret it. I asked to cancel a contract for bad service and they tried to fight me and would not cancel without full payment of the 3 year term. LINGO sucks! They are incompetent.

      I will not give any star to Lingo Long Distance Provider. **************** is very very poor. They ************* is not trained on how to handle the customers. They are very rude. He made a statement that ' I should have common sense' to call the customer care when the phone line is not working. Where there is an issue in a line isn't it the company's responsibility to inform the customer. I will never recommend anyone to take a service with Lingo.

      Lingo has terrible customer service. When terminating the account, they added additional charges to my account for no reason. They tack on a bunch of fees. I would NEVER recommend doing business with them.

      We do apologize that you feel this way. Your service was under a contract that automatically renewed on 5/25/24 as it has done each year since your service started. Per the contract terms you were charged an ETF when the account was canceled as well as a credit back to the date your number was ported. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

      Worst Experience Ever Avoid Lingo Phone at All Costs I had the worst experience with Lingo Phone. All I needed was a simple service: transfer calls from my office to another phone number while I was away. What should have been a quick and easy process turned into weeks of frustration.Instead of forwarding the calls correctly, they somehow forwarded everything to my personal phone at all hours, completely ignoring my schedule. The incompetence of their customer service made matters even worse. They clearly hire people overseas who have no idea what they're doing and constantly messed up my phone system.The result? Countless headaches, wasted time, and zero confidence in their ability to handle even basic tasks. Do yourself a favor: save your sanity and avoid Lingo Phone. This company is nothing but trouble.

      In September, I received a letter from Lingo telling me to file a change of their ID number with my main basic telephone service provider, which is ***** I did that, and some days later was contacted by Lingo to confirm that I want the shift. I did that as well, but was told I might be without service for a few days. Now weeks later I find that I've lost long-distance service. Lingo tells me this is because the transfer request is "pending" and that they've contacted management to escalate the transfer request, but that it might take up to a week for the request to go through. I called **** to ask for **** long-distance service instead, but was told that there is a lock on my account, likely because of the pending request from Lingo. At this point I'd probably prefer to cancel my Lingo service, but after reading all the negative reviews I realize that a cancellation request may make things even more difficult. I'm also suspecting that Lingo may be behind the huge volume of robocalls we receive, as well as the fact that there are often extended intervals, during what might be peak calling times, when I can't make calls at all and just get a busy signal. What a mess. The original company I had service with was all right, but many acquisitions later their lack of service is unacceptable. At this point I'm highly doubtful that their supposed escalation to management is real or will lead anywhere positive. I've told them I will cancel in 24 hours if they don't resolve the issue by then. But whether they will follow cancellation practices also looks questionable.

      ABSOLUTE WORST customer service and the phone service itself is absolute price gouging on our elderly population. It is CRIMINAL that Lingo charges a fortune for this required utility and when their service goes down, they do not support repair. My elderly mother's land line (her life line!) has been down for over three days, and all I get are auto generated emails. When I call customer service, I am given vague non-committal responses from people who obviously do not know what they are talking about. We will be canceling our service with this awful business as soon as possible.
