      I have been waiting for an imaging at this facility. I have been very sick and my physician sent me for two imaging appointments because my gallbladder likely needs to come out. I communicated with this facility multiple times about my appointment. The day before, they called to let me know one of the appointments would need to be rescheduled. I confirmed that the second appointment was still on and completed all of the prep. I drove two and a half hours to the facility the morning of my appointment and was informed that I could not do the second imaging test without the first (which they had rescheduled). I was unable to get my second imaging test, and I had to go home and come back another day. I am very frustrated about this and I do not think it is right.

      I had an MRI scheduled on 5/3/2024. i was in the machine for about 30 minutes and the tech told me that she couldn't do it, as she was newly trained. She followed up the following Monday and said another tech couldn't do it, and she said I would have to go somewhere else, but that she would mail me a gas card. I drove 60 miles each way, so a total of 120 miles, for the procedure. I never got the card. I have called multiple times and the office manager won't call me back. In addition, I filed a complaint on ****** reviews, and the office sent a reply and said someone from leadership would reach out to me soon. That's been about two weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. I even called again and left a voice mail.

      I had a DATSCAN performed at the facility in ************** ** 09/12/2019. I told the person that was performing the scan that I am allergic to Iodine, I was taking ******* at the time, and that I had epilepsy in the past. I told the person performing the test that I had a mini-stroke earlier that year while having a CT Scan and I refused to have Iodine for the procedure. They said that was fine and that they changed the time of the exam because the Iodine had to be administered 2 hours before the procedure. I paid for the DATSCAN 10/02/22 for the amount of $514.90. They are now trying to bill me for Iodine administered $562.70. I have been disputing this portion of the bill since my first bill back in 2019. I have contacted **** the manager over the ************** office. I explained the issue and he has told me on several occasions that he would contact the person that performed the scan. About 2 weeks after our first conversation I spoke to **** and told him it would be one of 2 things, either they are negligent of malpractice in giving me the Iodine since the precautions for the drug I specifically told them I was allergic too, or they are trying to bill me for something I did not receive. **** asked me to send an email to him and he would respond. I sent an email on 04/14/23, 04/20/23, 04/26/23, 04/27/23 and 05/10/23. I have also tried to contact him and all I get are voice mails that are never returned. I have since spoke to ******* at their ******* office to resolve the issue since I could not contact ****. ******* told me that she was going to call me back after she speaks to **** and now she has not returned my call either. I am being harassed since 2019 from their billing department about this issue. I am told that they are just a third party trying to have the bill paid and they cannot help me resolve the issue I have to contact OPI directly to resolve the issue. I want this issue resolved and have in writing that I do not owe this amount.

      I received a bill from this provider. When I called and spoke to ***** in the billing department, she was rude and dismissive. I called because my insurance showed I had zero balance due, but OPI sent a bill for $234.73. ***** stated that I had submitted the wrong insurance, which is not possible since I only have 1 insurance provider. Additionally, at no time since service was rendered did anyone reach out with a question about my insurance. Upon examining my EOB, I stated to ***** that the statement clearly shows that I owed zero dollars. She became more gruff and after a few moments curtly stated "I just wrote it off. It's gone. anything else?". I requested an email or some form of documentation to show that my account was zeroed out and nothing was due. her response was "I just told you, I wrote it off". The level of disrespect is unacceptable, and I would very much like some sort of documentation, whether emailed or hard copy mailed, showing that the account does not have a balance owed.

      This concern was bought to the billing manager's attention.  Response was "I addressed this with the employee and reprimanded her accordingly ensuring that this can not happen again. I agree with the patient that ***** was slightly gruff and discussed with her that if she is having a bad day, she cannot let that be the level of professionalism displayed to a patient.  I won't tolerate it. I can confirm that the balance was adjusted.".  an itemized statement will be emailed to the patient. Thank you.
