    The record label known as "Asthmatic Kitty Records" advertised that they would be releasing a vinyl record that would be extremely limited to only 500 copies, thereby making it a collector's item. I took off work on the day that this supposedly limited item would be available for pre-order, and I WAS able to successfully preorder the item.The next day, Asthmatic Kitty Records announced that this vinyl record would NOT actually be limited to 500 copies at all--despite the fact that they explicitly advertised this record as being strictly limited to only 500 copies--and sales were instead open and ongoing.I needlessly took off work in order to pre-order a "limited" item that was no longer limited, a clear case of false advertising. I should be able to exchange my record for a different version of the record that actually WAS limited.

    We appreciate ****'s business very much, and engaged with him over email, immediately offering a return option to **** with a pre-paid  return label. **** did not indicate that he wanted to return the item, and has kept the record. 

    Our language surrounding this release indicated that we would "release 500 copies of this edition in the *** store." At no point did we use the word "limited." But even if we had, it is not uncommon for record labels to release second pressings. The first pressing of this record, a copy of which **** received, was in fact run at 500 count.  

    We're saddened to hear that **** is disappointed. We strive for excellent customer service, and we are happy to issue a return to **** if he would like one.
