On Tuesday July 11, at 4:27 pm I parked in an executive parking lot in little five points *******. I then went inside the ****** Grille to ask if they validate parking seeing as the large sign going into the parking lot says ****** GRILLE PUBLIC PARKING after being informed that they did not I returned to the parking lot less than 10 minutes later and paid for 2 hours of parking from 4:37-6:37 pm. I later discovered that I had been booted less then five minutes after arriving and was told later by the technician **************** that we must pay before leaving the lot although that is not posted anywhere within the lot. After paying online we had to call the technician, from the number stuck on the car door by the company, 20 times which he never answered only showing up ***** minutes after the payment was sent. The technician (****************) as well as the company were extremely rude and unprofessional. We spent $75 on a boot removal and $10 for parking and the technician wouldnt even answer the phone.Business Response

Dear Better Business Bureau,
We are writing in response to the complaint submitted regarding the parking experience at our facility located in ******************, *******, on July 11, 2023. We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter and clarify the situation.
In the state of *******, parking management companies, such as ours, are required to utilize third-party companies to enforce parking regulations. As such, Empire Parking Services is responsible for enforcing parking rules at the mentioned location.
Our parking lot is clearly marked as a paid parking lot, with signage indicating the requirement to pay in advance. The attached picture submitted with the complaint confirms that the signage states "pay in advance." The ****** admitted to leaving the lot to inquire about parking validation and then returning to pay for the parking. According to our records and the ******** own account, there was a lapse between parking and payment.
We regret any misunderstanding regarding the parking rules, but it is imperative that all patrons adhere to the posted instructions. Empire Parking Services, the enforcement company, acted within their rights by immobilizing the vehicle for non-payment at the time of parking.
To further investigate this matter, we kindly request that the ****** provide proof of the exact time of payment. This will help us gather accurate information from both the ****** and Empire Parking Services to resolve the issue effectively.
We understand the frustration caused by this situation and the subsequent delay in service. We will address the conduct of the enforcement technician with Empire Parking Services to ensure more professional and prompt responses in the future.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to resolving this matter satisfactorily. We can be reached at ************ to try and resolve and gather more informtation needed.
Sincerely,
Executive ParkingInitial Complaint

Executive Parking Systems is the name of the company that has not been very honest in its dealing as it appears that my compiaint is one of many compliants with this company and about the same thing. I parked my vehicle today in a pay lot in *******. I know that I need to pay so I text the number that directs me to Executive Systems, which I need to pay to not get booted. I follow the instructions, put in my tag number, complete the payment section with my debit card info, saved the debit card info in the their system for future payments, and assumed that it cleared my bank account because I was give a time by which my payment expired. When I came back to my car to leave, it was booted. I call the number for the boot company, and they come. I explain to him that I sincerely thought that I had paid because I went through all of the steps, it took my credit card info and saved it and I got a time of expiration. He would not listen. Neither does Executive Systems Parking or any of its other employees. They have deliberately made it impossible to talk to someone about the issue and get the boot fee waived. They all play dumb and say they don't have that info lol. Sounds like a scam to me. As of now, my car is still booted in the lot while I try to get with the appropriate individual at Executive Systems. As stated, every employee with whom I talked, including a Supervisor, played stupid and t hat they were simply . an answering service. ******, the first person with the "answering service" to whom I spoke, lead me to believe that the fee would be be waived and that he would contact the boot company to take it off. When the boot company called me they said that they got no such instructions. I can go on and on and about other putting me on permanent holds, etc. This practice is very dishonest, and the company should be investigated for this dishonest practice.. They scam us by telling us that they have no record of payment and then boot us.Business Response

We are sorry that there seem to be an issue with the parkers ability to pay for the parking. If they would like to discuss this issue I can be reached at ************. In the state of Geogia, a parking company cannot also demobilize a vehicle. The Demobilization of a vehicle is complete by a third-Party contractor. The complaint filed does not provide any specifics. Again, I would gladly like to speak with the ******. I can be reached at ************.

How hard is it to get an email back or a call back from this company. As *** explained in my numerous emails and numerous phone calls, I want a refund. No one has called back. No one has emailed back. This is absolutely ridiculous as a company. July 28, 2023, I parked in a parking garage and paid for 12 hours through the link posted on the spot. I was then told to move my car one hour later because I was not valeting however there were NO signs to valet. I didnt want to argue so I kindly moved my car, and I asked for a refund and was directed to this number ******************). It only allows you to leave a voicemail which I have done several times. Not only have I left voicemails, but Ive also emailed the email on the website. *********************** I just want my refund for the 11 hours I was not allowed to park.Business Response

*************** was given a full refund for the parking charge. We apologized for the misunderstanding of where she could park and the fact that she was asked to move out of the valet parking area. we corrected the valet that did not understand how to have the vehicle to move out of the valet parking area and into the self-parking area. This issue should not happen again.

Was at MD appt on 12/1/22. Took picture of parking code, entered my tag and selected 0-3 hrs at $6 for parking, received a thank you which I thought was my confirmation. Came out of appt and car booted. MD office said this has been a problem for many people. Showed driver my text which I thought was confirmation and was forced to pay $75 to get car unbooted. The text was proof I was trying to pay and thought I had. Would like to be reimbursed for $69 which would pay for cost of the parking I thought I had paid. This process of payment needs to be changed as I am not the only customer that has been booted after trying to pay for parking. Have tried via phone messages, email and company will not respond nor do they have a live person to reach for a dispute. This needs to be addressed for me and others! Thank you. ***********************Business Response
