On 11/10/24 I pulled into a parking lot. I was immediately ushered by the attendant to a space and was told the cost was $20. I asked about paying at a machine and he said it was not in use due to being a special event for the concert. He walkie talkied another member and collected money from another person parking as well. He gave me direction to the arena as he put a parking receipt on my dashboard. I was halfway home on the highway when I saw a paper on my windshield. I pulled over and found it to be a parking ticket. Perhaps he didn't see the stub on my dashboard and gave me a ticket as well? Or gave me a ticket deliberately? Or was a scammer but I would assume that the owner would already be aware and not allow that to happen. I am seeking dismissal with f this ticket. I have tried to dispute it and left message with the owner. I will look into further actions if this cannot be resolved here. This is not right to triple charge a customer. And the ticket says 7 days else it goes up to 150. This happened at the ******************* location, 34

As a courtesy, we have waived the citation. Moving forward, please don't pay any one except the pay meter or by scanning the ** code at all times.

I am requesting a refund for an unfair parking ticket issued by Park Place LLC Re: ***********.On 10/11/2024, I parked in the guest parking area while moving in and out small furniture from my daughter who is a resident in the apartments, with permission from building reception. I received a ticket despite this authorization. I spoke with the issuing attendant, explaining I had permission to park temporarily, but he dismissed my explanation.I later received a $35 collections notice on November 4, 2024, dated October 15, and a second notice charging $75, dated October 31, which I received on November 6. When I disputed the additional charges beyond the initial $35 online, I was told I had seven days to pay after the ticket date, a deadline I missed due to delayed ********** avoid escalation, I paid on November 7, 2024, but I am deeply troubled by the aggressive, arbitrary practices employed by your organization. These issues highlight the predatory nature of your operations:Lack of Clear Instructions: Parking rules, grace ******** and dispute options lack transparency, making compliance difficult.Discrepancies in Permissions: I followed instructions from the receptionist, but this authorization was disregarded by the ticketing staff.Fee Escalation Without Justification: The charge increased from $35 to $75 within a short period.Automated Dispute Process: My dispute was met with an automated response, allowing no chance to explain or resolve the situation. This experience left me feeling targeted by Park Place-Atlanta Parkings predatory practices. I hope my concerns are taken seriously and steps are taken to prevent others from similar treatment

Customer stated he was good paying the lesser amount and he has 7 days to pay. He received two letters 10/15/24 for $37.50 and 10/31/2024 for $75.00. The lesser amount was only applicable if paid the ticket within the first 7 days.

I parked in The *************** retail parking lot on 8-7-24. There was a bag over the parking ticket kiosk so I was unable to pay and obtain a ticket. (Neither was anyone else!) In an abundance of caution, we snapped a photo of the bag over the kiosk, figuring that there might be an issue. Not surprisingly, we were issued a violation (# below) for parking there. We weren't at ***************** long, as we were getting take out. When we returned to the car, there was a $37.50 ticket!I submitted a complaint to Park Place Atlanta, with the photo I've uploaded here today. They wrongly decided that they were upholding the violation and I am required to pay the violation fee, which I am reluctantly paying today. What kind of business places a bag on their parking ticket kiosk and proceeds to ticket you for parking there when they have created circumstances rendering your payment impossible??? I would like to report this greedy and unethical business; and I strongly believe I am due a refund for this egregious determination that I owe them money for this "violation". It's not a violation if you are unable to pay. Your ticket should be cancelled if a parking meter or machine was broken and there was no other way to pay.

    Good morning,

We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience in the parking deck. The parking meters have been taken out of commission since the rules of the garage changed in late 2023. There are signs at every entry to the garage instructions patrons that the garage is reserved for customers of the retail shops and restaurants only. Therefor, no paid public parking is permitted in the garage. There are also many signs throughout the garage that give instruction to patrons to validate their license plates inside the retail stores. One of these signs is in the picture you sent, set up right next to the decommissioned parking meter. If you had mentioned in your citation appeal that you were a guest of one of the restaurants we would have waived the fee. Now that we understand that you were a retail guest, we are still happy to waive this fee.
