    In February of 2022, hired Patio Pros, Inc. to build a new deck. I gave the owner, *************************, $1,623 as a deposit to guarantee the price would not increase. The agreement was contingent on my obtaining a loan for the cost of the renovations I was doing (deck, siding, windows). Unfortunately, I was not able to qualify for a loan to do the renovations at that time. I requested deposit refund from my siding and window vendors who completely understood my situation, and promptly refunded ***********. Patio Pros, ******************************* however, took more time and many, many text messages to get them to agree to send me my deposit. ******* also gave me many, many excuses as to why it was delayed. Including the fact Patio Pros, Inc. did not have the funds. They had used my deposit to pay for something else and they did not have it to refund to me. ******* agreed to send me a little a time to refund my deposit. I have received 2 separate payments of $500 each. I am still waiting for the balance of $623. ******* has recently sent me sarcastic texts taunting me about the balance but has yet to send it to me. This company is a fraud. If the BBB cannot resolve this issue, I will be taking legal action. Thank you.

    The only FRAUD here is a customer who tries to purchase something without the money to do so.

    As soon as I receive the payment  -  mailed only after I made the complaint to the BBB -  will I consider the matter closed. Let's wait until the check clears. Thank you, BBB, for your assistance.
