Had a pinhole leak in a pipe. I cut a hole in the ceiling allowing ****** access. It was a Saturday, so he charged $195 for the weekend fee, which I could swallow because it was a weekend. But then, he replaced a one foot pice of pipe in under 30 minutes and charged $550 for that work. Total bill was $750, for 30 minutes of work. $1,500 an hour. He preys on the vulnerable when there is an emergency. ***** doing business with these guys.

    Hello ******,

Thank you for you for your feed back. We have been in business for over 35 years and value every customers feedback and look into all our jobs to make sure they are done correctly and priced per company pricing standards. We looked at this call and its appears our Tech. picked the wrong task for this type of repair. Sometimes this happens because there are a lot of similar task and he could easily click on the wrong one. Our office is making a correction and will send an email to the person we have on file.

Called to get a small leak on the outside spigot fixed. You pay an upfront fee of $89 which gets waived if you proceed with the work (seems fair at first).I was quoted $498.75 for a 30-45min job. When I asked for a breakdown the answer was (labor and parts). This would have been a small pipe and new spigot ($15 part cost at **** so would have paid around $480 ... resulting in $900+ hourly rate ???Answer was: " this is our rate card ... "Enquire IN ADVANCE of what a certain job would cost before you pay $89 to hear something completely unreasonable - UNFAIR practices in my opinion.Refused to have the work done, paid the $89 dollars and fixed the issue myself.

Hello ***, Thank you for your feedback. I looked into your job and saw the pictures of your front hose **** faucet which appeared to be pretty old and in need of replacement. Our cost was to go inside your crawl space to cut out the old water line and faucet. We would then install a new shut off valve inside your crawl space, along with a new hose **** faucet securely mounted to you brick exterior wall. I noticed the existing one was not mounted and just sticking out of the wall. The shut off valve that we put in the crawl space is so you can shut this faucet off and drain it down for the winter months for freezing. I understand your concern with pricing, how ever we feel this price is fair and standard for this type of repair.

***** was very rude on my call to request service. We have a 10K + job and her response was incredibly negative to the point we got service elsewhere. Not very accommodating at all. I absolutely do not recommend this business.

I recently hired Plumb Works ******* to repair a burst pipe, now just 1 month later their replacement pipe failed and now I have no water due to shutoff from city.I paid $600 for the work of Plumb Works, which was supposed to provide a lasting fix, and it included a thorough inspection ($100). The inspection meant nothing as the supposed fix was only a bandaid. If more work was required for a lasting fix, why would the inspection not have revealed that and informed me?Even worse, I was lead on to believe that the inspection/dispatch would be subtracted from the total balance of work when I agreed to pay for the replacement / repair of the burst pipe, which never happened. I paid $600 to Plumb Works for ultimately no solution and to have the same problem. Currently I have no water to my home.I've been calling Plumb Works since yesterday, left voice mails, but they are sending it to voicemail every time.I have lost even more $ due to the leaking water consumption in both cases ($1500). Plumb Works only robbed me further $600 and provided no lasting solution or help.0 stars unless Plumb Works can respond and make amends for the issue.
