I am writing to file a complaint against Sora Schools, accredited by Cognia and WASC.My parents registered me in 10th grade, making a payment of $403 before the start of the school year, as told. However, because of the reasons below, we requested my withdrawal from their school before the school year started. They're now refusing to withdraw me and refund my tuition even though I never used their classes. Reasons for withdrawal from ****:1. I was promised early graduation. Now I am told that might not be an option. ***************** with a rigorous curriculum, allowed me to do it. Coming to **** was especially because they promised personalized learning. I was deceived to believe they'd help me better achieve this.2. I tried to communicate w/them regarding my registration for more classes, but communication was slow and unclear. I was only registered for 3 classes. After many attempts, I succeeded in getting a 4th class. My usual load is 7 advanced classes. 3. **** is refusing to acknowledge my hard-earned credits. I gave them my transcript since the beginning, telling them my previous school would send an official one when returning from summer break, around Aug 28. My transcript shows 11 HS credits, about 1/2 of HS. According to ****, I finished 63 of 128 total HS units. This is about 49% Still, they keep claiming I only completed 38% of HS. Even with both copies of my transcript showing 11 HS credits, all with yearly grades of A, a 4.71 weighted GPA, they're refusing to budge.I realized my plans and their ideas are not compatible. My parents requested my withdrawal from Sora days ago, but they refuse to accept that I am not their student and to refund my tuition. This money is my school funds, I was making an effort to pay ****. If they can't help me achieve my goals, they can't toxically keep me. Though I am no longer their student, they keep harassing me and my parents. We want a full refund and to be officially withdrawn from their school and records.
