    This occurred on 11/9/24. I called the main # of Direct TV, **************, number given on monthly bill, to pay my monthly bill, for my television services- Acct. # *******************. We paid the bill with a representative named ****. ( I was given a $30 loyalty discount that I did not ask for) and paid $370.00 with our debit card. We were told it would show up as Direct Promo *************We found out later that **** had no record of this. Right after we paid this bill, are bank card was hacked, so we had to get a new debit card. The company website shows they are a ********************** and no contact information. They ask for your PIN Number to get into your account, which we refused. **** says they have no idea who these people are, but when I call them, I receive a text after the call from **** to review the service call. Total Scam!

    My complaint is EXACTLY the same as the other complaint against this company, but I thought I was calling Optimum and paying my internet service bill. Instead this company (which showed up on my bank statement) took my money and Optimum is calling me for a payment I thought I already made!I am going to contact the ******************** about this company. I believe they are operating out of CA now. I just wanted to inform you that my complaint is exactly the same as the complaint someone else filed about this company.

    this occurred on 2/25/23 I called the main # of Direct TV, **************, number given on monthly bill to pay my monthly bill for my television services- Acct. # ******************* service was down - pd bill with representative ( was given a $14 loyalty discount that I did not ask for) original charge was $164.22-pd $150- given conf. # ***********- also given phone # of ************** to call if I had any problems or concerns. i paid over phone with my checking acct.-bank recreated a check for this amount. That check # was #**** dated 2-25-23. When direct Tv sent me a notice stating this was never paid i called them. They stated that this was never received and that the confirmation number given did not match their numbers given out. I went to my bank to get a copy of the recreated check. it was made out to Direct Promo Services LLC. The back of the check was stamped with " For Deposit only- ******* Direct Promo Services LLC Account number **********. ********************** TV and I had SEVERAL calls back and forth and they had me fax, scan, email and mail copies of the check and notes of this occurence. They kept saying they would look into it and get back with me but never did. I continued to pay each month after this the amount for each month that was due but finally they suspended my service stating that this amount was never paid. I have an ongoing fraud case at the bank now and had to get a new checking account due to whomever this is having my banking information. Of course i tried calling this phone number given to me but it does not go thru and the bank said this company deposited this amount in an account in Georgia. I do not know how this could happen when I called the Direct phone number from my bill ( which I always do) to pay this and only this one time this has occurred. Its also odd that I was paying my Direct TV bill and the check went to Direct Promo services??? it sounded like to me that it was a promotion service used by Direct TV but they say no.
