    This establishment is not only very unclean, but lacks professionalism. My spouse an I decided to stop in while we waited on a show in the area. The first thing I noticed was the smell. This place allows smoking so that was to be expected, however I was somewhat disturbed by the marijuana smell. There is also an underlined sour smell through out the whole building and the bathroom smells like there is clearly a plumbing issue. As a result of the smell I had no interest in eating, so we just sat at the bar for drinks, a decision I regret more then walking in the door. The bartender was very rude and unwelcoming, not something I would expect from a "neighborhood" establishment. Our drinks were clearly watered down and when I brought it to the bartenders attention she rolled her eyes and started speaking to what I assumed the manager in a foreign language. The issue was never resolved, they did not offer to remake the drink or anything. Instead she gave us our tab and proceeded to ignore us for the rest of our time there.I also noticed that they have real gambling here. My husband noticed the manager giving cash to another customer and when we inquired as to what kind of prize they had won, we were informed that they actually give cash for slot machine winnings. I thought this was illegal, but was not surprised to see such shady practices in such a seedy establishment.I am nothing short of grateful that I didn't try to eat here because I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen. I honestly don't see how this place is open with what looks to be several legal, environmental, and health issues. This place should defiantly be investigated. I will never return and would discourage anyone from patronizing this business.

    We ate here on 12/12/23. They way over charged me and my 2 friends for our food. For example, I ordered fish and chips, 1 IPA beer, lager, and Guinness and was charged $49. My friend ordered fish and chips and 2 beers and was charged around $40. Fish and chips was priced around $13. My other friend was charged around $7 for ***** light. They would not give any of us a receipt to refute the charges and just told us IPA beers were more expensive. I feel they need to be investigated and would recommend consumers to stay away from this pub.
