    I requested to have my birth certificate modified for changes on my mother's name being misspelled with NC Vital Records I paid the extra fee to have it expedited 7/9/22. I sent 2 emails and left voicemails numerous which I have yet to receive a call back email or letter. I have read so many reviews of people saying it's taken up to a year. You are unable to schedule an appointment so they leave you with no options but to wait. I am requesting this paperwork due to legal document I am needing for mexico showing my mother's information however it's misspelled and it has put me in a bind waiting for an update. I left voicemails two weeks after sending it and sent an email as well. I just sent another email and doubt anyone will get back to me. It's truly unacceptable to have to wait for this service this long despite you paying the fee their website says will be for an expedited service which also they say it's not refundable. I would like my changes to be completed and sent to me as quickly as possible which was one letter on my mother's name on please
