I've genuinely tried to hold my patience with this company but that has gotten me absolutely NOWHERE. I live in ************************* here in *************, **. On December 24th, 2022, a sprinkler pipe burst in my apartment leaving it flooded and several items damaged. At that point, my apartment manager directed me to River Oak Risk to handle my claim and the loss of my personal items. On 12/18/2022, I received an email from River Oak Risk stating that ******** (the 3rd party claims administrator) requires an inventory of personal items as well as receipts in order to evaluate a claim. On 12/29/2022, I completed the inventory sheet as well as ALL receipts AND my lease in a .pdf and sent it to River Oak Risk via email. That was the LAST that I heard from them. There was NO FOLLOW-UP letting me that they had received my paperwork, NO contact letting me know that someone would contact me, etc. There was NOTHING AT ALL. However, I waited and waited. Then on January 5th, 2023 .. I decided to email the company letting them know that I was waiting on answers on what the next step would be because I was unfamiliar with the process and it's UNPROFESSIONAL to not follow-up. Again, they never responded. Then on January 9th 2023, I emailed ******************************* whom is listed as the "Chief Executive Officer". Never got a response from him either. That same day, I emailed the claims department and then FINALLY on January 10th, they responded and said they have an influx of claims and I'm in the "queue". It's currently January 19th and still, no communication. This is HORRIBLE business! This incident happened almost a MONTH AGO and I'm still waiting to hear something back about my claim. Then, the lack of communication is awful. I've been left in limbo and I have NO IDEA what to expect next and they barely respond. I haven't received a call or anything. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on my items to be replaced. This is absurd. I just want my claim settled and done. PDF attached.

I rented a storage unit from 10 Federal Self Storage in ********* ** in September my belongings were ruined from rain water getting into the unit I had the insurance and I made a claim as I was instructed to do. I followed all the steps and submitted everything over 30 days ago and I have reached out several times to River oak claims and 10 Federal Self Storage and neither company has answered my phone messages or my emails. I need to replace my belongings that were ruined in their facility
