    Real Title Solutions acting as the settlement agent failed to pay the *** the $23,400 according to the instructions outlined in the closing documents for the purchase of our home in August 2020. After many attempts including hiring a lawyer to make the request for the money to be returned Real Title Solutions of ******* refusing to repay the money. The check they sent to the *** had the incorrect social security number placed on it.Because it was their mistake we have spent the past three years trying to work this out with them. They have taken the position it out of their hands and we are just out of the money. I now have to pay the *** the $23,400 plus interest and penalties. As far as i know they could be doing this to others as well. This company has now cost me more than $50,000.00 without consequences.I have all of the documentation including a statement that they made the mistake. This is bad business. The company refuses to respond to me or my attorney. At this point i can no longer afford to pay legal fees to take them to court.
