    We met up with Don's Tree Service at our son's place in ******* for tree removal, agreeing on a price of $9,500.00 which was paid that day for tree removal of 7 trees and trimming of another of which it was decided later on the removal of 6 trees because of questionable property lines, and just one branch of another so no more trees would hit his house. They did not stick with their schedule for arrival at all each time for coming, They did not use any heavy equipment, just a couple of chain saws. From how close the business is to our son's, there was only ***** labor hours max involved for the tree cutting, removal, and travel time so we were totally charged unfairly due researching tree service in ******* states regular tree service is $150 an hour with emergency tree service ranges from $300-$2000 per tree depending on size and location, and situation at which earlier in February we were charged $4,250 for 1 tree near his house. Unfortunately, we are from ********* and were unfamiliar what's available in *******, but that's no reason for total price gouging. We requested a breakdown via email and a reimbursement of $2,500 for lack of equipment used, the few hours of which employees were there plus it was 1 less tree than initially agreed upon, and then in written form May 6th as had no response of which we still haven't received. There was less than 8 hours actual labor involved which included loading for removal at the site. If you provide a fax number or email, I can provide you with a copy of their lump sum invoice and the letter we mailed to her. We appreciate your looking into this.
