      I got a 1099R for 2023 from reliance trust saying they paid me over $2000. They had the correct last 4 of SSN and contact info. I have never received any payment from them, Are they fishing for more personal information? What proof do they have they paid me? How do I treat the 1099R when filing taxes. Is this an ID theft SCAM.. ********************** should prove they paid me.Other complaints state SCAM for reliance trust 1099R

Our representative supplied the individual with the appropriate retirement plan recordkeeper contact information in case additional details about the distribution were required. After the discussion, it was the understanding of our representative that the individual recognized the distribution that occurred and understood appropriate next steps if additional information was required.

      I received a **** from this company for over $7500. After working with my advisor and checking all of my 401K roll overs, we have not identified any company or amount in the dollar amount of the distribution noted by Reliance Trust. I have attempted to call the number found online without any luck.

      Just received **** form showing ******* dollars gross distribution from this company and have never received any money letters emails or other forms of communication from them and no response when trying to reach out to them, and would like some clarification before paying any taxes on something not received.

      I received a **** from this company. I did not receive the distribution they said I received. After disclosing my information they said they could not process my question until I sent a picture and copy of my personal ID. I believe I have been scammed. Their phone number is **************.

      I just received two ****-R documents in the mail. One is for a distribution amount of $4550.44 and another for $650.69. I have not received any distributions from this company and am confused as to who they are, but again, Ive never received these listed distributions. Is this some sort of company committing fraud or identity theft?

      I received a 2022 ****-R stating that the sum of $2520.00 was distributed to me in 2021. My personal information: name, address, last four of my SSN were correct on the form. Regardless, there was no distribution made to me in CY2021 either by direct deposit or paper check. I have not contacted Reliance Trust Company for an explanation, for fear that this could be a scam.

      I received a ****-R stating that the sum of $157,296.76 was distributed to me in 2021. There was no distribution made to me in that year or ever. I wrote the company about the mistake in February of 2022 and June of 2022 and have not heard anything.

      I had a 401k plan with Voya and Voya sent my check to Reliance Trust and I need Reliance Trust to respond back to my numerous voice mails to write the check and send my 401k money to my current 401k account. No one is answering the phone and I have left serval voicemails. I am in desperate need to get my money which is mine. I tried calling all day long and you get voicemails. Or you get extensions that hang up on you, one lady picked up and yelled and hung up. I dont know what type of business this is but, they are holding my money.
