    I have been paying for my friend's personal belongings at Assured Security, starting from May 22,2022 to November 2022 totaling $25,000.00. They were supposed to deliver the belongings to my property which never happened because of their slow service in which my friend had to go to their office and pick up his stuff. Once he arrived, ***************************** (CEO) said he will mail out my refund cheque by ***** and that was since October 2022. Up to now I have not received my refund cheque yet because I have not heard back from them at all. The company is closing down soon, and the last email is from ************************* in which I will provide and she said the cost to mail the cheque by ***** is $300.00. Now that is Extortion, there is no such amount of a cheque inside a letter mail. When I responded back to ************ said that I found that suspicious because I work in an office myself and I mail out cheques to *** all the time, and it's never $300 to mail it out and she has yet responded back to me. ************************* should be charged for Extortion. I'm requesting BBB to resolve this matter soon as possible and they must mail out my refund cheque now. I can't wait any longer for this.I'm begging for someone at BBB to go with authorities to both places and ask for ***************************** and ************************* because you won't get anywhere with the phone number provided, just leave a message they keep saying.Company office number: Phone: ************ Their previous address: ********************************************************** ******************* is another employee who was handling my case and was switched over to *************************. I did email to him also and have heard nothing back from him as well.On the website there is an office phone number and I've been calling all the time and it says to leave a message and no one is calling me back.I'm requesting an immediate mail-out of my refund cheque and I will pay $80. for ***** mail NOT $300. It's clearly Extortion because they weren't happy about the refund cheque to me. **

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
    The real ***************************** got in touch with me and we are resolving this matter. It was the wrong person I sent BBB to and I apologize. I'm glad the correct Assured Security got in touch with me. Everything is fine now.
