    Do not recommend for hair color
    I do not recommend this salon for any type of hair coloring. I did give them two stars, as they did try to correct the problem initially, however after two tries, My hair still looks awful. I don't want anyone in the same boat as myself, after spending $400 at Salon Surrey, I have another appointment at a salon to fix the damage caused here. I am now close to spending to $700 on a full highlight that should have cost around $250 or $300. After asking for a refund, the owner refused and blamed the color on possible water issues, shampoos I use at home, etc.

    Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your recent appointments at our salon. We value your feedback, and while it is our goal to provide every customer a 5-star experience we know that this is not always possible. You can see from our reviews on sites like Google that we have very high ratings from hundreds of customers. Your stylist is highly trained and a National Educator with Keratin Complex, which is the color line we use. You were not mislead about her expertise, but there are still times when a stylist and client just don’t mesh well or have communication issues as to the vision for the hair.
    At this point it has been it has been three weeks since we last did anything to your hair and almost two months since your original appointment. We are unable to process a refund for the services rendered during your original appointment (and the subsequent two appointments that we did not charge for). The services included the use of a large amount of top quality products that we cannot get back not to mention the time involved in multiple appointments. You claimed you were good with how things were when you left the salon the last time and have waited 3 weeks to now say you aren’t happy. I am sorry that the color adjustments did not meet your expectations. Color correction is not an exact science, can take multiple correcting sessions and hundreds of dollars. There is no way to say exactly what caused the issue. It could be products used at home, lighting in different locations, box color that you have used previously or even the water in your home that is causing issues with your color. You acknowledged understanding this possibility when you signed your color consultation form. All I can offer you is another opportunity for adjustments with one of our other stylists. If you wish to accept this offer, please let me know. If you choose not to take advantage of this then

    **Service was $300 and you bought 2 products and left a $75 tip. Your first appointment was August 2nd, so there have been over two months that have passed since the original appointment.
