On **** ** ****, Me and my family went to the Y to get into the pool and as soon as we got to the pool --my son grabbed a pool noodle and the swim board and we was told by one of the life guards(not african american) that my son could not use the swim board if he was not swimming correctly with it but there was another family (not african american) with the swim boards and they were just sitting on it not using it to swim. The same life guard told us the pool was closed at 530pm for class and we had so many minutes left but the life guard didnt tell the other family. So, we went outside to the outside pool and my kids tried to get on the waterslide ---we told the desk that they were staying at the waterslide and we were told okay and then we get to the waterslide and the other lifeguard told us something else so we just left and I have never had an issue with my kids on the waterslide without a swimtest. I felt as we were being attacked and I pay my money the same as other people do - I feel like it was not right and I literally just paid my dues yesterday. This is not the first time this has happened but it is getting old.
