The problem I am having is I purchased a completely new bedroom set in September 2021 for $3500. There has been a problem with the legs on the platform bed. A worker came out a few months ago repaired it and advised me to get rubber cups to place under the legs to prevent them from moving. I immediately did that and placed them under all legs, The bed was okay again for some months. On September 17, 2022, The leg gave out again while I was sleeping. I was startled after hearing the kerplunk. I tried to re-screw it but could not and went to the store to complain. I later realized that also there was a broken slat. On September 18, 2022, at the store they advised me someone would come out again to repair it. I refused and they agreed to come to pick it up and exchange it for another bedroom set that was similar in price and value charging $375.00 which I paid. This included $200 for the exchange and $175 for the delivery. The problem I am having today is they are not honoring the receipt dated 9/18/2022 for the above exchange. On 9/27 the owner, ** told me they will provide a used furniture dealer my phone number and he will call and visit to purchase the set. Then I can make a separate transaction to purchase the items on the receipt for the exchange. That is deceptive because they agreed to pick it up and provide the new one. The receipt is included. Please help me I am a retired senior citizen trying to resolve the matter without losing all the money I have paid out.On September 28, I wrote them and text them in response to the disbelief of their changing their minds,On October 2, they responded with a text saying I had broken the agreement. I will include that also. The first resolution I desire is replacement; for them to honor the receipt I was given 0n 9/18 for the exchange of the complete bedroom set. The second choice is to exchange the bed. The third choice refund all monies spent back to the credit card used.
