    Called this company about transplanting some bushes. They offered free quotes and told me they could come out and look at the job. They came out and I showed them what needed to be done and they quoted me a price of $800 to do the job which required a 20% deposit of $160. I paid the deposit on July 9th. They were supposed to do the Job on Monday, July 10th but I called them on Sunday evening (July 9th) saying I no longer wanted to do the project as 3 horticulturalists told me due to the age of the bushes, they would likely not survive the transplanting especially with the heat. I called *********************************, July 9th (the day before he would be coming out to do the job) to say, let's hold off until later in the year and he said ok, he would hold my deposit until I was ready. I called him on Wednesday, July 12th and told him I decided not to proceed with the project. He said he needed to move some money around and would refund my money on Wednesday evening, July 12th. As of July 17th, he isn't answering my calls or text messages and my $160 hasn't been refunded. He replied to my ****** review (but not to my messages) saying deposits are non-refundable for fuel and payroll. The only time he came to my home was to do the free estimate. He didn't do any work that warrants fuel and payroll. I want my $160 refunded. This guy seems to be running a shady business. He provided me an invoice and confirmation of payment of the 20% deposit but the paperwork doesn't indicate deposits aren't refundable. I would appreciate if the BBB could assist me in getting my funds refunded. Thank you.
