In 2019 I purchased a car from One Source Auto. I had the car paid off as of November of 2024. Since then, they have told me that they lost the title to the car. I have called countless times and even went in person to resolve the issue and have been told they are in the process of looking for it. Most of the time they avoid my calls or even have hung up on me once they realized it was me calling. I finally got through to them by calling from a different number, and was told once again, that they would figure out what's going on and call me back. It has now been 4 months, since it was paid off and the car has broken down on me and I cannot sell due to no lien release. I have lost my job due to losing my transportation, and am struggling to care for my son as well as my elderly mother who needs help getting to and from her doctor's appointments. Please help me to resolve this issue. Thank you for any help, in advance.Initial Complaint

One Source ********** has received full payment for a 2014 ****** Sentra and have yet to provide me with a title. I paid in full on September 3, 2024 and was told my title would be mailed to my address ********************************************************* in 7 to 10 business days. I called numerous of times and **** the department manager each time said it should arrive in 3-5 business days. On November 12, 2024 I filed a complaint with the ****************************. On December 17, 2024 I called the consumer protection division to inquire about my complaint. I spoke with a representative named **** that informed me it was still in review. **** also suggested contacting One Source ********** again to advise them to send my title or pay me for the car. Also, to send a certified letter. I did this an **** the department manager stated again 3-5 business days that I should receive the title. On January 7, 2025 I heard back from the attorney general stating I needed to file a complaint with the board of *********************************. On February 2, 2025 I did just that. I still havent had any communication with One Source ********** or received a title or check.Initial Complaint

I was late paying my car note. I told them I was going to pay it the week before but I was a few days later. I wasn't 30 days late. I made the payment 08/14/2023. I spoke with ***** who advised me that I was up to date with my payments. I didn't know that they had already repossessed my F150. She put me on hold and told me to pay the repossession fee of $350. I told her I would bring it the next morning because you can only pick your vehicle up between 10:00-12:00. I called the next morning to let her know that I was on the way to pick up my truck. She said it was ok. Then ***** called from the business and said that I couldn't pick my vehicle up which is unfair. It couldn't be the law either. We have invested alot of money in this vehicle from my Mom's death last year and put $5000 down on the truck. I just want to be able to get my vehicle. I'm retired from IRS with 36 years. They told me that I had a previous repossession with the truck but I never have and I have never had a repossession before. Please help me with this issue so that I can get my truck back. Now they've sent me a certified letter stating that they will be selling my vehicle if I dont pay the full amount that I owe before August 24th. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.Business Response

On 01/10/2023 I was hit from behind by another vehicle causing damage to my rear bumper and my transmission. The other drivers insurance company (State Farm) took full responsibility for the accident. State Farm then called me to advise me that they were coming to get my truck and have an estimate done they said it would be taken to IAA Insurance Auto Auction. I told them that I didn't want my truck to go to IAA because I have had bad dealings with them previously. State Farm notified the lien holder that they had my truck at IAA at which point the lien holder put a repo out on ************ payments were current but I only had liability insurance, upon calling the lien holder I was advised to obtain full-coverage insurance and the truck would be brought to me instead of the lien holder. I obtained the full-coverage insurance and the lien holder still picked up the vehicle and won't return it or the things in it. I have tried to talk with the Lien holder on numerous occasions but I am told every time that I call he will call me back in 30 minutes or he isn't in the office. On 01/30/2023 State Farm reached out to them and was told that the truck was in the shop being repaired. On 01/28/2023 I called the dealership to find out where the truck was and I was advised that it was in the shop and given the number to said shop. I called the shop and was told the vehicle was never there and that I needed to call the dealership back. I called the dealership back and explain my conversation with the shop I was then put on hold for 10 minutes and then a guy gets on the phone and tells me that the truck in question is inside the gate at the dealership where it had been since they picked it up from IAA. I asked to speak with the owner at this point and I was advised that he would call me back in 30 minutes I waited for a hour and fifteen minutes and I called back only to be told that he just stepped out I advised the receptionist that I was going to speak with my lawyer.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the dealership is not being truthful at all they are already in the process of selling said vehicle i went to the dealership today02/15/2023 and all my things had been removed from the vehicle and the vehicle had a test drive tag on it and my personal tag could not be found. I was told that if I didn't remove this post I would not get the vehicle back and that they would have no more dealings with me. I tried to retract it due to the fact that I wanted my vehicle back and as soon as I called them to notify them that I had tried to they came at me for more money than they originally told me I had to pay. they want me to pay 200 dollars for the deductible for the vehicle being repaired 250 dollars for the vehicle being towed this is what I was originally told. now they want me to pay an additional 750 dollars on top of the 450 dollars for car payments when they have had possession of the vehicle since 01/15/2023. They wouldn't even allow the insurance company to have the repairs done to the vehicle just so they could get it back and resale it to someone else and still have me paying for the same vehicle someone else is. I have accepted that they scammed me and God knows how many other people they have done this too. So as this complaint was posted I and can't be removed I would love to move forward with an consumer attorney for assistance in this matter.Sicerely

I am rejecting this response because:
The dealership is knowingly in the wrong and they have attempted to blackmail as well as committ acts of theft against me. They stole the tag to the vehicle and number of other items that were left in the vehicle they also attempted to steal from me by deception which is a felony in Georgia.
Sincerely,
