    I paid $9000 for 883 feet of wood post and 4" spaced wire fencing. I discussed 8 foot spaced posts with the owner/estimator so I could later DIY horizontal slats without the boards sagging. The fence was installed with 10' spacing. When emailing with the office afterward they made excuses about the durability of the wire claiming that the 10' boards won't sag. The boards are irrelevant when I requested 8' spaced posts, paid a lot of money, and installation did not occur to my specifications. The spacing of the posts is not detailed on the estimate or invoice. I would like a 10% refund to make this right, since I'll never be able to finish the fence the way I wanted.

    Your fence was installed at the end of February. You paid promptly and even called our office letting us know you were very happy with the fence.  You asked us to come back and reinstall a section of the fence due to your layout and guy wire being in the way.  Not once did you let us know you were unhappy until now 2 months later on BBB. You never once called the office on this. I am not understanding why you think you cannot put wood boards on the fence.  This is done all the time.  Your request for 10% refund is denied.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I called the office in tears because I was not happy with the fence and asked to have Mr. **************************** come back out to revise the work that was done.

    I would like you to waive the $600 invoiced to make the adjustments to SOME of the work that I was not happy with. I am forced to live with the other 818 feet of fence that was not constructed to the specifications I requested. From personal experience I have found that even 8 foot boards warp so surely 10 foot board horizontally will warp.

    You called the office and specifically told ***** that you were very happy with the fence except that one section that you took blame for.  I am pretty sure if you called the office in tears, you would have never paid for the fence upon completion.  As to the boards warping, the board is attached to the wire that keeps them from warping.  They can be set on 12' centers as long as it is attached to the wire.  Being in business since 1988, we know how this works.  Pretty obvious that you do not want to pay for the section that you wanted redone.  Do not worry about paying this.  I would have rather you called the office if you could not pay for this repair instead of making accusations.
