    Signed builder agreement 11/20/2023 sent retainer check for $8500.00 for architect drawing of home and building project After months of waiting and 3 E mails builder **** a concept drawing (wall only) of a possible design.03/20/2024 builder sent over a topography survey of the wrong location that the house was to be built. They acknowledged they made the mistake and ordered a new survey. At this time, I requested a meeting at the property as Timberlake Homes did not have a clue what or where they were supposed to build. I drove 20 hours and met with ***** (sales) Chip (owner) and *** (*******). The meeting lasted 35 minutes discussing build site, electric, sewer, driveway and additional work and funds needed to start project. ***** stated I could have the work done or have them give me a quote to complete the work. I stayed in town an extra day and called to get number for work required, On 04/11/2024 ***** sent an estimate for the work discussed total $150,000. I responded with the numbers I was given and asked for a breakdown of their estimate. ***** responded that due to my questioning their estimate they felt there was a trust issue and they were not going to do the build. There was never a phone call or discussion.Timberlake Homes arbitrarily kept $1000 and provide NOTHING. The survey was for the wrong parcel of land and their concept drawing was incomplete and of no use moving forward, At this time we are requesting a refund of the $1000 they wrongfully kept.
