    Tax accountant received my documents to file my individual and corporate 2023 taxes for me on February 06th 2024. I have a confirmation email from ******* *********************** I called her office numerous times to find out when my taxes are done, not wanting to miss deadlines. By Mid-March I was told: Don't worry we filed an extension for you and you do not owe taxes! I checked again just about every month if or when my taxes were filed. September 14th 2024 I received a letter from the *** stating I owe $1,410 saying ************************* did not file taxes on time and the fees are penalties and late fees. I called the office and went to see the admin of her ****************** in September asking to handle the issue since she created the problem. Email response from Mrs. ********************** on 9-24-24: Please give me a few days to handle this. I will call you by end of the week and advice. Regards ******* ********************** I called the *** to see what I can do about it on October 3rd 2024. I was told I need to file a form 843 which I did. November 06th 2024, I picked up a certified letter from the *** stating the late fees have increased and will continue until I pay. Stopped again at tax preparers office Mrs. ******* is not in, spoken to **** office assistant and said: I expect this to be taken care of ****. Per ****, it's all the *** mistake, I know Mrs. ********************** has been on the phone with them all the time and it will be taken care of. Called the *** again on 11-12-2024, they have not heard a word from Mrs. ******** On November 13th 2024, I hired a new tax accountant that said once I sign a POA she will get in contact with the *** and hopefully resolve the issue since I am in good standing with them and never was late before. I am asking to refund my $575 tax preparation fees from Mrs. ********************** since I had that much and more in losses and fees since ********************** and Associates caused me lots of headaches and hours spend on the phone without a resolution yet.
