      I bought tickets to zip line with my husband and daughter on June 9th while in the car and driving to Blue Ridge. I acknowledge seeing the age restriction but not the weight restriction. My daughter has ziplined various times so it didn’t even occur to me to look for one. Once we arrived at the business they wanted to weigh her. They then told me she was only 55 pounds. This is impossible since she was just checked by her doctor and she was well above 60 lbs, around 64. The called a woman- perhaps the owner- and I explained the situation. She refused a refund. My husband is back in school for a Masters degrees and we cannot afford to just lose this money. Their staff was stern and condescending and the individual on the phone stated there was nothing she could do because she lost out on the time slot. Their porch was packed with people so I cannot imagine they will hurt if they had. provided us some empathy and refunded our money.
