    Date of Fence installation was 5/5-5/6/22 After installation I noticed the mold on about a 1/3 of the fence. I immediately called ***** my sales rep at Precision and he stated give it two weeks and the sun will take care of it. I paid $4608 for a moldy fence and a few planks also look to be rotten. They did come two weeks late to fix one plank and secure another plank. When I followed up on 5/19, I was told to give it 3 more weeks and that it looked better. On June 12, I reached out a 3rd time and was told I was added to the repair list. I think this is horrible business since they have gotten their money and now I have to wait for you to remedy mold wood. Why use wood that is moldy if you are not going to stand by your promise to remove it. I cannot give my fence stained until the mold is properly removed. It has now been 30 days since my last correspondence regarding repair and this is taking too long.

    The customers response is an accurate account of what happened and where we are at.  However, I believe filing a complaint is a bit premature.  We have not cut off communication with her in any way and so, are in the process of resolving it.  I'm not sure what warranted a complaint, unless she's just lost faith that it would get resolved.  The issue with the "moldy" wood is not an uncommon one with pressure treated lumber, especially more recently (factors related to supply problems).  Almost always the mold will weather out as the wood cures, which unfortunately takes time.  We, unfortunately, are not able to hand pick these boards, they are delivered in mass quantity.  It sounds like this is a very extreme/rare case.  Our course of action will be to send someone out to assess how bad it still is and we will either clean the mold or replace the boards depending on our assessment.  Again, we understand her frustration, but filing a complaint is very premature as we have stayed in communication with her the entire time to work towards getting this resolved.
