I am writing filing a fair claim against Mr. ****** Renrick who is the owner of Tabari Renrick Auto. On February 22nd 2024 is the day I bought or purchased my 2006 Saturn Vue SUV from Mr. ****** Renrick and for one it wasn't the vehicle I had done asked him about but due to my money (tax) were limited he lied from the beginning about the car he really had for me but instead he had the Saturn Vue (2006) for me is what he claim was all he had for me that day. To move forward the same day or night I purchased the vehicle I gave his daughter $2000 total, 1800 for the truck and 200 for what he claim he could send off for my title which was cheaper at which came a total of $2000. Moving forward the same night I drove the rough vehicle from ****, ** to Waycross Georgia Auto parts to buy my own battery that total was $226.79 not to leave he lied on social media saying that he had given me some gas change again I put $40 the same day 02/22/2024. A week later my vehicle would not crank and I notified Mr. ****** Renrick about the situation he responded with an crazy or silly message about basically it's not his fault and there's nothing he can do about it. First of all Mr. ****** Renrick false information me about the vehicle saying it only needed a tire or tires and a battery so therefore I was confused. To find out that week later of purchasing the vehicle that my starter was going out due to Mr. ****** Renrick did not mention to me about that again I spent $152.00 for a starter. As time going by I'm chancing my vehicle going back and forth from Waycross Georgia to Douglas ** to pick up my granddaughter I got stopped by the law because now it's over the time frame of me having a tag and still riding and driving the vehicle still with his tag of business I got a warning. Moving forward I basically got stopped several times in Waycross Georgia giving warnings to immediately get a tag but still the vehicle wasn't registered in my name yet.Initial Complaint

Peace, im a single mother of 4 boys *** *** * * without any reliable transportation. On March 25 I purchased a 2007 saturn outlook from ****** who drove the car to me after 6 pm for the test drive. I drove it all day Tuesday & also purchased insurance just to wake up to the vehicle not cranking for me to be able to take my 3boys to school the next morning wich was Wednesday & they missed that particular day wich was the 27th. I preceded to contact ****** immediately and when I was contacted back I was told it was a crankshaft censor from a paper he told me before I purchased he had printed from auto zone and this was the only issue that was wrong and also his ** *** *** mechanic couldn't do the labor so I attempted to find my own mechanic and payed him 90 to put the part on yet it still didn't work. This was all done during the week of the 25th being that I had to wait bc I live sooo far in *******, I had a hard time finding anyone to come so when I did I had to pay just for them to look at it. All the time I was keeping ****** informed of everything but after the part he told me didn't work I couldn't afford to keep paying people to look at it so I asked him again to have his mechanic fix it then I was told his other mechanic was out of country and wouldn't be back until the following weekend so I asked for a refund at that point bc I felt he was giving me the fund around but he refused and offered to switch out the vehicles. Monday came and that never happened when I asked him wich was the April 1st and he refused and act as if he never told me this. He has been very nasty towards me talking very arrogant, He also spelled my name incorrectly on the paperwork wich was all done through docusign but I never received a title in wich he said was in the paperwork only to find out it was the registration, I just didn't know. I still don't have a title nor tag and he has blocked me on ***** where we were communicating. Please help me help others not be scammed by this person. I can't take such a loss. I'm not able to drive to my new salon I just signed the lease on and it's been very street and hurtful that I thought I was making a positive move to help not only myself but my children. I've been without transportation for almost a year and now I e been taken advantage of and I don't know what to do.Customer Answer

On Sept 21 2022 I purchased a 1996 chevy truck off of marketplace when I paid for it the person said that he was a dealer and for $200 more he could do paper work for me for title and tags and I said I'm just working up here and I'm from FL and he said no problem so I gave him the other $200 he gave me a 20 day temp tag when tag was out of date I went to get my title and tag and he said he forgot and then handed me a piece of paper with Renwick auto on it and said test drive ..well I've still have that and still no title I called dmv in Atlanta and been to dmv in jesup where I'm working they said nothing they can do.The last time I spoke with him he hung up on me and I called Atlanta again they said to see if fl has title bonds which they do and I purchased one and took it in to FL to get registered and they said this vehicle wasn't one that they would accept bond on because it's registered in Georgia and was titled in fl in2003 with a lien on it ! So I'm at wits end what to doInitial Complaint

I purchased a VW for $3500 on 2/22/22 from Renrick Auto. I was told the vehicle was purchased from Carmax who did a 100 point inspection on it. The car had lights on the dashboard and ** ******* informed me that they would go off as soon as I changed the wheel bearing. On test drive I asked ** ******* what we both felt and he said it was the wheel bearing. I have been informed by VW that the car requires a transmission.and had obviously been in a accident. When I purchased the car I was informed that he cleaned it up for me, I now know that it was a coverup for the mold that grows because the car leaks inside from under the dashboard, has an electrical problem ( can’t get the horn to work lights remain on after replacing parts) needs transmission The registration was just processed on 8/4/22 and to date I have not received a title, which I was informed 9/20/22 that the title department is waiting for Renrick auto to process the information. I invested over 1500.00 in the vehicle to get it to run (still needs transmission) .
