Th funeral home mis handled the remains of my mother and disgracefully dealt with the matter and caused life long grief in the way they handled her burial and the ceremony held at their facility. Seemed more concerned or profit than compassion.

     Complaint: 20801089

I am rejecting this response because:

I asked for letter to the family admitting mistakes made what was done to correct them and was told no letter would be issued. The phone conversation with the firm  was totally  factual as to what happened  and quite frankly what needed to be said and stated as far as incompetence for this firm. but no written acknowledgement would be given.. Thank You. The firm did agree to making the family whole financially on efforts made to correct their  heart breaking mistake. Thank you. Phone conversations do not document what happened or what went wrong. As consumers and grieving families I would prefer to share with public the written response(Factual details of the errors ) of this firm in writing, so others can decide, as well as, others to comment  that *** of have experienced this situation. Bottom line thanks for the making us whole on your error. The firm did provide some wonderful services but broke my families heart at the end. Talk on the phone is cheap and refusing to admit details   in writing   is an effort  a sweep the matter   under the rug in an effort to save your impeccable reputation which is apparently  waning, especially on social media. The intention in this complaint is to expose what happen in writing, share what was done in response from the firm  in detail (in writing). S0 others can decide.  the firm has offered to fix the expense I paid to fix the situation. The firm has refused to write a letter describing what happened and what actions where taken specifically, disciplinary etc. , to prevent this from happening again. Until that is presented in detail, in writing, your rolling the dice on dealing with this firm in a very emotional and sensitive time of a families time for  needed compassion and professionalism.

    Regards,

This needs to be administratively closed. I agreed to his request and sent a check to his step-father the same day. I completed my investigation into this matter and dealt with my associates as appropriate. There will be no written communication, as discussed with the complainant when we spoke. Nothing further.
