    nt I can pay? So now I'm paying $15 a month for several years when I would have had it paid off. I got a call today saying I was overdue on a payment. I paid my $15 at the beginning of the month. Never received a receipt. Apparently they don't send those now except by request. When you log into the portal you can't see any information about previous payments made either. This is a scam. They are making it difficult to navigate for consumers on purpose. Please help the people in my small community. This is the only health care available to many here.

    To whom it may concern,

    We received a letter dated April 3, 2023 stating the BBB has attempted to contact SGHS, Inc. via email or mail.  I apologize for any delays but this is the first correspondence I have received in regards to the complaint.  Please provide the email where previous attempts were made.

    The information the customer requested was mailed on 4/5/23.  We spoke with the customer on 4/12/23 and she acknowledges receiving the requested information.  We reached out to our Extended Business Office and shared the concerns the customer had in regards to not receiving the requested information on 3/21/23 and they assured us that additional training will be provided to their staff in regards to this matter.

    The customer also mentioned the patient portal was not easy to navigate because it provided minimal information and functionality.  We passed this information onto our Extended Business Office vendor and they are going to see if the portal has other capabilities that can be offered to our customers.
