** **** **** was having service performed @ King ford of Brunswick Ga approx august 1st of 2024 and when I received my truck back it was missing the engine cover. I notified the dealership and after six months no one has handled the replacement which, leaves me no choice but to register a complaint about them. I would not recommend using this dealership, as they refuse to follow up and / or replace parts that were on the vehicle coming in but, NOT there when it left.

Customers vehicle was at shop 7/27/24-8/3/24 across 2 Repair orders in our Quick Lane. This was the only time the vehicle had been to the dealership and had 190,919 miles. It was diagnosed as requiring 6 spark plugs and 5 coils as one coil had been previously replaced. An oil change, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, throttle body service and serpentine belt were replaced for a total of $1687.61. After the customer left, they called the Quick Lane manager several hours later and reported that the engine was misfiring.  The customer took the vehicle to 2 different repair facilities in North Georgia and the Quick Lane manager refunded him his initial diagnostic charge of $75.00(normally $150.00). The customer then took his vehicle to a dealership in Arkansas and it was reported that some plugs showed arcing.  History revealed that aftermarket coils had been used and I refunded the customer an additional $969.74 that I paid directly to his dealership for a total of $1044.74.  This dealership is the one that pointed out to the customer that his engine cover was missing which is an appearance piece and has no functionality.  Upon notification of the missing cover, we searched the service areas for a cover and did not find one and cannot confirm there was one present at the time of repair however, as of 9:48 this morning, we have ordered a new cover and expect it to arrive tomorrow on our parts shipment.  Mr. ****** was left a voicemail indicating this.
