    Response to complaint.

Upon arriving to job site we had to dig the gate to gain access to home. There was animal waste on the temporary flooring which the home owner requested that we save for him (plywood). We began work removing temporary plywood and waste so that we could install new sub flooring, you can imagine the smell. The donkey in the house, was eating anything and everything that wasn’t tied down, not mention the muddy dog was allowed to go and come as he pleased messing on the brand new flooring that we had previously put down the day before. We removed waste and kept working.  We installed shower, tub, and vanity on a Thursday. I believe at 7 pm on Friday I receive a message stating that their water wasn’t working, so I went right then to investigate upon my arrival it was clear it was a well issue but the customer kept imposing that it was our pr****m until, I clearly told her that it is impossible for it to be. I offered to come back Sunday morning to look at well for them but access to well was overgrown.  After a few minutes of talking with her, I realized that they have had several issues with their well in the past and that it seemed as if they were trying to take advantage of the situation.

The water was back on the following Monday and we continued work only that the power was turned off. At that point I loaded up and left. The following day we went back to paint the first coat. There wasn't any water, so we tried to clean and paint using pond water that was a waste of time . We then went to work on underneath moisture barrier but someone had been dumping animal waste threw the previous temporary flooring. The amount was unbelievable, a 55 gallon drum worth. I sent a message to her to have it cleaned out and that the bathroom was functioning, but we had no water to clean or do what we needed. Told her to call when it was repaired. She did call and say it had been fixed, so when we showed up, she explained that the man was very unhappy and would like to speak to me. We waited outside while we could here, a lot of stuff moving, but entering the front door, the smell was reminding me of a pig farm, I worked on as a kid. One small path leading to his bedroom, where he was sitting in urine stained underwear. Myself and helper walked right by him directly to the bathroom. That is where I had seen all the blue tape on the walls, the tube still had nasty water in it along with hair and some type of oily substance on the floors and the new smell had since left probably ran away. At this point, he manages to come in the bathroom and began his dialogue of how the walls were not up to par I tried to respectfully explain to him that we had no water and that was only one coat. He then asked my helper to step out, I said no anything you have to say you can say in front of him;  at this point he began to say how he had been watching the process of me building my house and that he had a lot more work for me to do at his house, and that my house was beautiful, and could not understand why I have done such ****** work at his house . At that point I explained to him respectfully, that this wasn’t fully completed because of water issues and power issues . But, I also told him that we did not walk into a level 5 finish. We walked into nicotine covered walls and animal waste everywhere. He then asked who he needed to call to get a level 5 finish because that is what he paid for.  I told him to call ***** ******, if he says that we will do it, until then I would not return.

I will not have my men work in this kind of filth. From the start as what you have read, my men have worked in this from the start.
