  We just had our one year anniversary of moving in to our EMC home in ******, *******. Our home was built to the specifications in our contract and turned out to be more beautiful than we expected. We chose the **** plan with black kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, grey laminate floors, a covered back porch, and are very pleased with our choices. Our lot is wooded, and the builder left trees so we have some privacy. We're enjoying the slower pace of this charming small town and Quail Forest is a gem of a neighborhood! Our agent and EMC Homes were easy to work with, and our builder was communicative, honest, responsible, and had high standards in quality of construction. I would recommend EMC Homes to my friends and family.

  This builder takes short cuts on everything. They tell you theyre going to fix things or do things and never hold up to their word. We were told at closing certain things were going to be done, but then were told the guy we did our walk through with left the company so they just let it go. You bring things up to warranty they pass it along to someone who may show up and tell you oh this is going to be done and it never happens. Send emails to the ***************** no response back. ****** tells neighbor certain things will be done to our areas, but never follows through. Not sure if things were fixed properly in our house such as the Freon piping they punctured or if it was just covered up with a temporary fix. They show favoritism to certain people. Promises are never kept. Unreliable, not professional, never will we ever refer anyone to this builder. They just want to get your house up and move to the next. Oh and the chopped up trees they threw all over we were told it was going to be replaced with sod weeks ago to only get told its our responsibility to pay to get sod, but they can replace sod in our neighbors back yard no problem, and do the rest of the areas with sod no problem and leave us with the responsibility to pay for their unfulfilled promises.

  This construction company is the most shameless and unprofessional I have ever seen. Please stay away from this construction company as much as possible. I was the first to sign a house purchase contract (May 2021). The initial plan was that there was no basement. After more than half a year (January, 2022), they told me that their original plan was wrong and asked me to choose another lot to build a house. After waiting for another year, they told me today (January 2023) that they will not sell me the house because the price of this house has increased. they'll give me an extra 250 bucks This is the most ridiculous thing. I paid a deposit of ***** for nearly two years. They refused to give me the house, and then canceled the contract rudely.

  no communication, my home is still in need of repairs I have called text and emailed this company and at first ****** the ** of operations was all on it and then nothing, no responses no updates, or anything. My HVAC was making loud noises come to find out I had no insulation on the exterior wall , my front porch needs repairing not to mention its a new home closed 5/30/2022. wall oven not installed correctly, they took down trees and left the stumps witch is preventing me from laying new sod and erecting my fence so I can being my dog home witch I haven't been able to in almost 3 month. I have been patient and now its time to report them for unethical practices and no warranty work being completed
