The shop owner gave me quotes that he then turned around and charged a different price. In addition, he repaired items on my bike that I never gave authority ( verbally or written). He replaced parts that he never got consent to order and left some items or issues unresolved. I called him to check on my bike and he said that the problem was worse than he expected and that he is working on it. He never said that he had to replace, add, or take away anything. He only said "I will take care of it, I will call you to let you know". a few days later he gives me a bill that was 3 times what he quoted. Mind you I only brought my bike in for a o-ring for my fuel quick disconnect, oil change, and to replace my compensator and I rode my bike to his shop. He said he had to replace my whole fuel line because o-ring was to hard, he had to machine the compensator which is part of his labor that boasted the price, adjusted my clutch, replaced my kickstand bumper and adjusted transmission, and shift lever. He never called me to ask if I wanted to replace or spend extra on all the things and when I asked him why didn't he call me before he started to do the extra work he said "there was no way for him to know what needed to be done without tearing the bike apart" crazy thing is that I met another gentleman who used his services that said he did the same thing to him, where he fixed things that he never gave authorization for. I had no problem for paying for what we discussed, granted he doesn't have any written forms or documentation proving that I gave him authorization for doing the work he did extra..
