Extremely unprofessional dealership was hounded and harassed by **** ********* simply because I never replied to his text message. I work days and I cant help it if I cant use my phone at work. He hounded me for about a week and when he said he was closing my file I sent the thumbs up for ok and he gave me a lot of attitude and was extremely rude. I dont owe this dealership anything I just did an online inquiry never spoke to this man a day in my life nor set up a appt or anything. So for him to become extremely combative and unruly was extremely unprofessional. I would never buy a car from this dealership and I urge anybody else to do the same. If they can employ people like this that says a lot about their company as a whole.

On 05/27/2024, I visited the Autonation VW dealership and spent 3 hours essentially waiting to be the victim of a bait-and-switch tactic by their sales team. In my initial inquiry, I specifically stated that I wanted to see a Cornflower Blue VW Taos listed under $30K that qualified for a 0% interest rate for 60 months. When I showed up, the salesman had a Navy Blue Taos listed for $36K for me to test drive. When I declined, he was able to "find" a Cornflower Blue one for presumably under $30K. We test drove it, and I agreed to the purchase. We went back inside and he prepared a price quote - but with the interest rate of *****%. The monthly payments were in the vicinity of $580! I politely asked him to rework the quote but this time run a credit report on me to see that I would qualify for a zero percent interest rate. Of course, I did. I know my credit score. It's very, very good. The monthly payments dropped to $440 a month. I signed the deal, and the salesman asked me to contact my insurance to add the new car to my policy. As I was on the phone with my insurance provider, the salesman snatched the sales quote out of my hand and hurriedly left his office. I had not even given the *** number to my insurance provider yet. I went to see what was going on. He was at the front desk with a newly prepared sales quote. This time, the monthly payments were $518 - indicating the price on the car had increased about $5K. The salesman unapologetically said that the wrong car had been input to their system for the first 2 quotes and that this third one was for the car that I test drove. Clearly, this tactic is generally considered "bait-and-switch" by most business professionals. It is an unscrupulous activity. I cannot believe the audacity of this aged sales rep to attempt to deceive me so obviously. I cancelled the sale, retrieved the keys to my car, and left their garish establishment angry and disappointed. Buyer beware at this car dealership! Don't waste your time.

I need resolution as to why why VW sold me a Taos 2023 that has no towing capability. I spefically wanted a car that I could tow a small trailer for bicycles and kayeks. The sales man told me that car could tow up to **** lbs. After purchase and having the owners manual in hand on page 222 of Taos 2023 owners manual stated that car has no towing capabilities. Sent email to both sales personnel and they sent me an email showing a Taos towing a jet ski!!! If I were to install a hitch and try towing it would have voided my warranty.Sales personnel and sales manager had no knowledge of the Nationwide VW lease deal of ****** per month on Taos. I had to return the next day because car had no compartment cover. I also stated that I would be doing a lease and when I sold my home that I would be purchasing car and neither the finance manager nor sales personnel told me that I would be penalized if I terminated lease early. Neither the finance manager nor sales mgr went over contract pricing. The car I traded in was a Jetta not an Atlas as contract stated. I also purchased a dent and cleanliness contract that no one went over. Volkswagen of America needs to rip their license to sell VW because they give VW a horrible name and would never in a million years recommend this dealer to anyone.

Please stay away from Autonation VW in ****** **! I was dealing with a salesman name *****************************. At first he was cool but after I sighed papers to hold the vehicle he became rude. He was misleading information. He said the vehicle was clean, but it had hiding damages. He did not send me pictures of the damages. I spoke to him the day prior to me flying in and ask if everything is good to go and he said yes. Upon arriving at there dealership and seeing the vehicle it was filthy. They started to clean it when I arrived. From the pictures that was sent to me you can see that they created damages after the fact and refused to fix damage that they created after. The front bumper was repainted and it look worse than before. Not sure what they try doing to the headlights but it was damaged. They removed the clear bra on the hood and made a big chip on the hood. After a manager got involved then they try to say they can only give me $200 off for the damage. I rejected it because the damages were way more than that. As walking away they said they can do $500 off which still will not cover the damages. I told them no and explained to them why. They said they have to talk to their boss and they will let me know. I told them to call me and let me know what they wanted to do and no one ever reach out to me. They are unprofessional and only care about the money going in their pocket. Now they wasted my time and money. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM AUTONATION!

Their service department is an absolute joke. They lie, are uneducated, and when called out on their c*** They tell you, you can no longer get your vehicle serviced there. Even though you bought it there. Theyre neglectful to your concerns or issues thus making your vehicle go far too long without anyone addressing them. The manager is a completely liar. I even have a paper train. High turnover in staff, all new techs and service advisors every time you go in there.
