Avoid using SEUD for your underdeck system.I wish I could give this company negative stars. We had our underdeck installed in February 2023, and it rained the next day. The underdeck leaked like a sieve, and it still does.Over the past 17 months, Southeastern Underdeck has sent technicians multiple times, but they haven't been able to stop the leaks. The frequent repairs have left the panels nicked and dented. They've blamed the leaks on everything but their poor workmanship and subpar product: 1. Improper installation of the deck 2. Disregard for building codes during installation 3. Missing flashing under the deck 4. Water collection on the deck 5. The deck being painted rather than stained 6. Lack of gap between the deck planks 7. Water gushing down from the roof 8. Blocked gutters 9. A piece of rotting wood on the chimney 10. A gap where the chimney meets the roof Before choosing SEUD's underdeck system, we had a corrugated underdeck that never leaked. They fail to explain why we never experienced leaks with the old system. My recommendation: Hold onto any remaining payment until it rains and you're sure the underdeck system doesn't leak.Check out this video to see the extent of the leaks: [Leak Video](************************************************)

Google removed this same review due to non compliance. SEUD replaced the old system because it leaked and was failing. SEUD has gone above and beyond the scope of our contractural work in an attempt to assist in identifying the existing issues that have nothing to do with the installation of the underdeck. The deck and chimney chase have no existing flashing, which is not a part of the Underdeck system. Flashing should have been installed at time home was built and therefore would be homeowners responsibility to repair. This customer has had multiple family members post negative reviews on multiple media sites to the point weve had to block and report them. We went above and beyond to resolve this customers issue. We have a multitude of proof showing he has existing damage requiring repair to which he stated he would take care of in an email and failed to complete the repair. This is now subject to a lien and cease and desist order.
