  This guy is a liar and a crook. Georgia Flooring and Remodeling was hired to install flooring, install sheetrock, baseboards, 1/4 round and paint ceiling. Mr. Perdue asked for half the money upfront and he was paid. He sent a crew of kids to do the work. Mr. Perdue did none of the work and was not present. He was not available to supervise his kids. On */**/22 Mr. Purdue asked to be paid for the work his kids were finishing up. He was paid without us having inspected the job. Dumb on our part. I was out of town during the work. The flooring was completed and looked nice. All the rest of the work that followed was terrible. Perdue had was told of mistakes, shoddy work and some damage done by his workers. Much of the work would have to be completely torn out and re-done. Said he would return with materials to fix the problems. He returned without materials but did bring a quote for another job and did not repair his kid's damage or perform repairs. Instead, he promised the work would be completed in three days. Nobody showed up. I called Perdue two days after he was supposed to repair their shoddy work. I asked him why he did not return to do repairs. His response was that he was busy. When asked why he did not call to tell us he was not coming, he replied he was slammed. Too busy to make a simple phone call? He said yes, he was too busy. He then promised to fix all the problems they created in a couple days. He never came back. We have not been contacted by Perdue at all. We have been left hanging. We finally had to hire someone else to come in and re-do much of the work Perdue's crew did. This was at our home. During this same time, Perdue had some guys performing work at our rental house. I haven't seen the job they did on that house. My husband said it would be best if I did not see it. He has someone tearing out Perdue's work right now. I wish I could submit photos here. However, I was able to post pictures on ****.

  I concur with **** *. The crew he sends are between 17-23 very impressed with their work ethic and skill when it comes to flooring. Don't I repeat don't let them do your baseboard or 1/4 round. They sprayed some of my baseboard, didn't thin the paint. The baseboard doesn't have the shine its supposed to have. I asked if they were going to sand that off, I then get a call from the business owner, yelling leave my boys alone, they know what their doing. The trim work looks like they just wanted to get done. Nails not sunk, caulking smeared, nail holes not filled, along with joints. You can't criticize their knowledge when it comes to trim, you don't do a 90 deg. butt joint, some areas looks like a 5 year old.
  Now my flooring, he the owner change the contract when I gave him 1/2 money up front. I thought I was just getting a receipt, It turned out he omitted repairing chips in my concrete, that was my fault, I trust people, he talks a good game. My flooring has some scratch's but not to bad, I can live with it. the biggest issue is how the left my floors. Scuff marks everywhere from the cutter they use, dragging it instead of picking it up. They left caulk film everywhere from the rags they used to smear, not wipe the caulk. My advice is don't pay the final payment until the job is done, do a walk around with the owner.
  The other issue I had is , they would show up everyday after 11:00 even 1:00 or later leave at 5:00 towards the they stayed a little longer. They left my garage a mess, they didn't clean up the saw dust or flooring debris, even the left the pallet. Oh I thought paid him enough, they took my 1x4 wood I bought. I guess that was icing on the cake! If I could leave no star that's what it would be. *** *
