Typical dealership!!! They all sweet and nice while you're in there trying to buy a car. As soon as You sign the paperwork, you're on your own!!! All that understanding and availability have disappeared. Just give me more money that all I care about!!! Do not recommend this place nor people that work

On ****** *,2023 I bought a 2020 **** *********. I drove the car it was good. I traded in my 2016 truck an everything look good. I sign all my paper work an it was downloaded on a small hard drive.. When I went to the office to print up the documents I noticed the paper with the financing was missing... I call Jeff smith. The finance manger said he would mail it to me. I also told him to drop the extended warranty on the car because I didn't want it anymore...10 days later I still had not received it..so I drove back asked for it. He printed it up .when I got home I saw where the car was overpriced . that's why he didn't print it up the way they did when I bought the truck. I went to *** ***** ****** ***** they say its nothing they can do.Jeff smith manager says he can't changed the paper work since *** ***** has it now. So I might Have to get a lawyer to get this straight because no one will help...they trying to hold out until I can't do anything...

I had an awful experience with Jeff Smith ford service department . My unserviceable taillight went out , and naturally it was not under warranty. The part was $715, so after calling Corporate Ford to complain they were awesome with helping me by doing the right thing and covering most all of the part an swapping. Where the problem comes in is that after waiting almost 2 weeks the part came in and an appointment was given to me. I delivered the Explorer to Jeff Smith the afternoon before (Tues) and the run around started. Finally after several days of putting me off to pickup (Sat) I drove up there and asked for my car back, had to wait another hour for them to finish it. When I got home with it I proceeded to notice that their was something all over the light and the side of car, felt like glue ? took forever to get it off , that's when I noticed that the paint was chipped in several places as they had pried out the light assy. I called back and they had closed. Monday morn I took the care back up there only to lied to by the service dept. that the chips were already there and that the tech. had showed him that before he started. That's where the lies Started !!! the car had no chips on it at all and I know because when I was told by the ******* ***** ****** that my light was out I looked at it several times before it ever went up to them. All I asked is that they make it right and not straight out lie about it. I will definitely make it known to all I know and to Corporate Ford how ****** this was.

I am not one to complain about a business but I do NOT recommend buying a vehicle from ANY Jeff smith dealership.I bought my car 8 months ago and ever since then they have given us nothing but issues with getting things repaired. I brought my car in just shy of a month ago to get it repaired. We were told it's the transmission. Let me start off by saying when we bought the car we asked multiple times and asked 2 DIFFERENT people about the warranty. Our main concern was us living over and hour away and the car needing to serviced. Both of the people we asked said that it does not matter where we take the car as long as it is a shop. Now that my car is having issues they want to say that because it was not serviced at a Jeff smith location it is not covered. Even though we submitted proof that the car was serviced at a shop. We have been going back and forth with one man in the service department and he could not give us a clear answer on what was going on with getting my car repaired. They also wanted to say that if they were able to make repairs that we would have to pay the diagnostic fee and that they got to decide if they would cover 25%,50%,75%, or 100% of the cost of repairs. We went back and looked in the paperwork they gave us and NOWHERE in the paperwork does it say that they get to pick and choose what percentage they will pay. We took my car up there 2 times not long after I bought it to have warranty work done to it and not one time did I have to pay for a diagnostic fee or anything else. This would not be and issue if they did not tell me to provide proof that the car was serviced. Now here I am with less than 6 weeks before I have a baby and have to worry about getting my car fixed somewhere else after it has been in their shop for almost a month. This is not the first post I've seen made about their service department being ******.
