    I was quoted 5,119.23 by this company to replace the roof on my home. The work was completed the week of *****23 with some minor issues which I reported. Photos attached. Bottom line I was told these minor issues would require some additions which weren't included in the quote. It looks like an incomplete job to me, however. Disregarding the minor issues previously mentioned, my main concern was the cost of the job as the final price of 6,517.69 was over 20% more than the quote. I was told this was for additional decking. Regardless of the amount of additional decking, I feel the quote was purposely low so they would win the bid and should have been adjusted solely based on that. I was told by Stephanie in the office and Tim who quoted the job, that the owner would call me to discuss. It has been almost a month since then and the owner has yet to contact me so we can resolve this issue. Furthermore, since I currently have no ceiling inside my home, it's easy to see that very little decking was actually replaced. I wanted to share this information with the owner as he is probably not aware hoping that he would agree, and we could adjust the price accordingly and put this matter behind us. I have yet to receive a call only another invoice from their office. I paid 2,559.54 upfront before the job was started.

    I am rejecting this response because: After speaking to the owner, who was very professional and thorough in his explanation. I still feel any final price should be well within 20% of the initial quote otherwise it should be called a guesstimate not an estimate. Though I understand his position, I'm not satisfied with the results since I'm now over 1000 dollars over budget due to this job. The owner did adjust my bill by 300 dollars and I'm very grateful for that. I consider this matter closed and unfortunately will have to find another company for future roof repairs.
