I took my car to get an oil change with my baby on 10/20/23 at Take 5 Oil Change in Calhoun, GA. My car was working good, after the oil change I noticed ny engine light came on and my car starting to rev even while I was on brakes and it was being weird. I called Take 5 but it was close to closing so I said I would go the next day. My car wouldn't make it there so we went to the one close to where I lived in Rome that's what Take 5 in Calhoun told us to do. When we got there a Take 5 worker came and checked the car and someone else who works at Take 5. They both told us that when the people went to take out the air filter, it might have affected the air flow sensor, because if some dust go in it, then it can mess with it. We went to Take 5 for an oil change, the air flow sensor was damaged right after. They should be responsible to fix it. We were told to take it to ********, we did and it was like the guy at Take 5 told us when he checked it, it was the mass air flow sensor, but Take 5 doesn't want to do anything about it. My car was fine until the oil change. We waited from Friday to Monday I couldn't use my car, because we were waiting for a manager to respond, no one else had a say in the matter. They don't want to do anything about it.

On 10/20/23 Ms* ****** *******  brought her 2012 Infinity EX35 to our esteemed Calhoun Take 5 Oil Change establishment for a meticulous servicing. However, post- service, she noticed a noticeable change in her vehicle’s performance.  With utmost concern for our valued customer, Ms. ******* promptly contacted our store manager to report the improper functioning of her car. Despite her initial attempt to return the vehicle, it unfortunately ran even worse, compelling her to seek assistance from our Rome location for a thorough inspection. With great diligence our diligent store manager meticulously examined the vehicle and regrettably found no evidence of any issues related to the oil change. The vehicle’s engine code indicated a malfunctioning “mass air flow sensor,”  a component that was neither damaged nor tampered with in any way near the air filter. Despite this, the request was made for us to bear the cost of the repair, which we respectfully declined. In our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, we presented various alternative solutions to Ms. *******, all of which were regrettably refused. In order to provide a fair and unbiased assessment we suggested that Ms. ******* consult an independent shop for a comprehensive diagnostic test. If the repair shop were to determine any mistakes on our part, we assured her that we would gladly cover the expenses. However, if no fault were to be found on our end, we expressed our inability to assume responsibility for the repair.
