Galt Landscaping charged me approx. $660 a month (yes, you read that right) for a small family home on a standard lot size. I expected to have a stunning yard at that price. They came once a month or not at all and did a basic mow that I could get from the neighbor's kid for $20. When I spoke with the owner, ****, about these issues, he said, "the value is in the summertime months" (it was a 1 year contract). When April 2019 arrived, I expected to really see something spectacular on my little lot. I didn't. In fact, I had the ugliest yard on my street. They did do 2 basic mows that month, along with cleaning out half the garden beds (nope, didn't even clean all of them) and dumped some cheap Annuals in the front (and I mean that literally... they just dumped them in random holes with no thought about overall look or design). By that point I was really upset, so I called the crew's supervisor multiple times to have them come back out and finish their work, do the cleanup properly, and seed the grass. They did the absolute bare minimum and begrudgingly seeded half my lawn with a very thin, patchy layer (yep, HALF the lawn). Apparently the owner didn't like that I was holding them to an average standard, so he cancelled my 1 year contract 6 months early (that had already been paid in full/ advance by me) and said I'd already gotten my "values worth"...Obviously I took issue with this and had an attorney reach out to him. He had his friend/ attorney, ********************************** with ***********************************, respond requesting an extension and ensuring us they'd like to try and settle. When pushed to actually do that, they delayed, refused to settle, bullied, lied, and used every dirty tactic in the book to make this, "go away" (direct quote). After an entire year of fighting, I couldn't afford to invest any more time or money into it and I was, quite frankly, tired of fighting this unreasonable, unethical, dishonest company. If you want quality, fairness, professionalism, and
