    I contacted Elite Comfort Solutions via Thumbtack to repair a leak that was coming from a pipe connected to my **** unit. I had an appointment scheduled for 9 AM on 5/6/24. I get a text around 9 saying he was running a bit late. Around 10:30 AM, I call to check in. Says he texted me that he is still running behind, but I never received a text. He then says he texted the wrong number. Doesnt show up until 12 PM. He diagnoses that **** unit needed Freon and that was causing the pipe to leak, although I never had a coolant problem. He adds *************** The pipe in ceiling still leaking. So I call him to come back, he says he will be on his way around 5:15 PM. He doesnt show up until 8:30 PM, saying once again there was confusion because he texted the wrong number. He comes back, adds MORE Freon, and claims to change my filter that was very old. He noted that the filter could also be the adding to the cause of the issue. But 2 days later, the pipe coming from the **** begins leaking again. Also, I look in the attic and both the new and old filter are both on the attic floor. He claims the filter I had was too small and therefore never changed the filter that he claimed he replaced. He told me to get a 16x20x4 filter which is nowhere near the size of the filter I needed for a 2bd/2ba townhome. He charged me $769.99 for freon, never changed the filter, and never fixed the leak, and wasted hours of my time waiting.
