We paid almost $2000 for 7 home visits with a trainer. She continued to call our dog by the wrong name. After trying 20 minutes to fit him with the harness that they brought and suggested, they witched him to a slip leash. The following week, owner and trainer switched to a plastic pinch collar. No consistency and no follow through, which is super sad for a dog trainer lol. Also, two visits they showed up late. At session 6, owner called one minute ahead and cancelled. Uhm, how is this acceptable behavior and for the owner to NOT show up. Sad, disgusting, rip off, and too sales oriented. Owner kept saying vote for us to win best dog trainer and at 9 months, be sure to plan on sending your dog for more training. Uhm, how about we finish the rip off training first. Oh wait, you would have to show up to finish.
