Paid in March 2022 for catering and event services for a friends wedding on 6/18/2022. Services were reserved via Thumbtack by *********************** ;my daughter) Howevwr, I paid for the services with a **** credit card ending in ****. Catering emails 1.5 hrs prior to their time to be there that there has been an accident and will not be showing up. We have reached out numerous times and they indicated they would reimburse for services $2,167. The reimbursement has not been received and they are not returning any calls, messages. They failed to provide a service and are not returning the money that was paid in full for the services. We had to run to Publix and create deli trays within an hour to feed 60 ppl waiting on a meal at a wedding. We hired this company to cater and DJ a wedding. They were paid on March 22nd, 2022 and the wedding was on June 18th, 2022. On the day of the wedding, one hour before it began, we received an email that they were in a wreck and wouldn't be there. I finally got in touch with the owner, who claims she was handling it. On June 20th, she stated a refund was issued and I would receive a receipt and documentation the following day. I never received a refund, receipt of a refund, or any documentation. I have been emailing and calling for weeks and they never reply. The amount spent was $2167 and if left unresolved, we will be filing a claim in small courts to obtain our money back. On or about 6/21/2022 I entered into a contract with *** Catering and Event Planning to provide catering and tables/chairs for a family reunion banquet on 7/02/2022. I paid via Zelle to the listed person on the contract Tyeasia Washington. They confirmed they received the full payment of $2078.00 and sent an receipt stating PAID. On the day of the event I called to see the whereabouts and ETA of the food which was no answer the first time. The *** Catering and Event Planning subcontracted the tables and chairs out to another business who did show and deliver the chairs and tables. Around 5:45pm informed she was in a wreck in ******************, then was told she would call me back. The lady who delivered the chairs drove up 85 and 285 to see where the wreck was in ****************** which she advised me there was no wreck and she contacted ****************** PD who also stated there was no wreck. Around 8:05pm *** Catering called back to apologize and advise she would issue a refund and that the wreck occurred in *******. On 7/03/2022 I called and text ************ to inquire about the refund so I could inform my family when they could expect their money back, no response. I called on 7/04/2022 no answer, I called, text and left voicemail on 7/05/2022 no answer. On 7/06/2022 I did not call thinking they would return my calls, texts or emails still nothing. On 7/07/2022 I called three times got sent to voicemail after the second and third ring, I then text and emailed them as it appears no one is answering or willing to resolve this matter. To this date, no one has answered, or replied to any of my attempts to resolve the matter. Once again I entered into a contract with this business, did not receive the catering or chair covers, stated in the contract and now one from that business is responding. My family reunion banquet was left without food until I had to pay more money to get items from Carrabas. Horibble business practice as no one will respond from this business.Business Response

On July 9th, 2022, my company (TNT Catering & Events LLC) received an email listing numerous complaints for services performed by another company registered as TNT Catering & Event Planning.My company is registered as TNT Catering & Events LLC. The complaint was for a family re-union that was scheduled for July 2nd, 2022. Per the email, the client made a Zelle payment to an account in the name of Tyeasia Washington in the amount of $2078. The company in question regarding the complains, is not my company. There was no Zelle payment made to my company. My companys payment accounts are registered under TNT Catering & Events LLC. The complains and negative reviews are not legitimate since the company names dont match. The false reviews and complains are posing as a threat to my company and quality of service provided for any event booked with my company. My company always provides services as requested and always goes above and beyond.

Please see the websites below for each establishment to facilitate in correction and desist of negative comments, for my company to continue providing services and flourish in the food service industry.
My company would appreciate more investigation before any negative complains are tagged and registered with Better Business Bureau as this affects my company in a very negative way. My establishment would appreciate more due diligence and investigation before any complains are posted regarding my company and establishment.
