I have attached a copy of the current Repair Order for **************. The customer brought the vehicle in and we found that someone has been messing with things on the transmission. Most of the torque converter bolts that hold the torque converter to the flex plate were missing and someone had tried to put a bolt through one of the holes that was way too long and it actually put a hole all the way through the torque converter. You can turn the torque converter with your hand and see the clutch on the inside of the torque converter. The transmission will never hold fluid this way. There is absolutely no way it is possible one of our ************************ could have done this because the vehicle traveled about 24 thousand miles between when it was originally repaired and now. The transmission will not hold fluid at all. It would not make it a few miles down the road like this. This is not our responsibility to cover under warranty because someone else clearly went behind our work and altered what we had originally done on the vehicle; and the customer admitted to me that he had been ignoring an extremely loud noise under the vehicle. We are not liable for negligence.
